Truth for hunger strikers, 22 Feb 2012
Quite how the republican leadership, namely Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness, have survived this far without reprimand/reprisal for their actions during the most sensitive period in the recent republican campaign is beyond me but equally, is a testament to their powers of persuasion and manipulation. This book is a must read and has to be read with an open mind. Mr O'Rawe's version of events is consistent and for this he has to be admired for his courage and steadfastness in the face of personal attacks from the greater republican community. The republican leadership side of the story remains inconsistent and Adams' public silence on the matter automatically provokes the inquisitive mind!
