5.0 out of 5 stars Roswell- its out of this world!, 31 Oct 2004
Roswell in a nutshell, it about three teenage aliens (eventually four) and there human friends. But its more than that, its a love story, one of the strongest and most powerful love stories i have ever seen: its about sacrifice for the one you love, finding that inner strength you never knew you had to make sure the object of your affection comes to no harm. The story relates to every teenage life (and in some ways even adults), becoming an adult, finding oneself yet still trying to be a kid and go through high school. This is a show that has touched many hearts all over the world, young and old, are moved by the story of the teenagers from another world, who find allies and form relationships with humans they would never of imagined would be pivotal to their survival. The main theme of the story is Max the young alien king and Liz, the human who's life he saved (by using his powers) risking discovery of his origins because he had always loved her and could not bear let her die: the bonds forged will last a life time. and so begins the adventure. Maybe it was not a weather ballon that fell in Roswell in 1947; You will never think of aliens the same way again! Welcome to Roswell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highlander series 1 on DVD, 20 Jun 2004
"I am Duncan Macleod. born 400 years ago in the highlands of Scotland. I am immortal."
At last I can enjoy Highlander the series on DVD! I had to buy it from Canada, ( so you have to have a multi-regional DVD player). Its a real joy to see one of my favourite actors and favourite shows on DVD. Adrian Paul, stars as Duncan Macleod, Clans man of Conner Macleod (Christopher Lambert) of the Highlander movies.
The first of the series , is an introduction to Duncan, and those who share his life: his mortal lover Tessa, and a young boy, Richie they "adopt". Duncan is not perfect, but with each mistake he makes he try's to learn from it. He values life all life above all else, mortal or immortal its all the same.
(There are six series, a testament to the excellent standard of the stories and the actors). The series carries on it the same vein as the movies. Adrian is one of the best Actors to leave these shores. He easily holds his own with the best of them.. Each episode is fresh and full of adventure, and within the core of the show is the moral dilemmas that Duncan must face ,especially within himself. I highly recommend Highlander the series, on DVD.
Remember there can be only one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rites of passage is a good way to pass your free time, 29 Mar 2004
Jason Behr is a truly natural talent. Who makes the story believable. This film has some "twists and turns", that surprises you. Jason Behr's portrayal of Campbell ("Cammiyo"). is a fine piece of acting. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crash into me, 19 Mar 2004
Is a in depth look at the world of Roswell. A must have for all Roswell fans. There are some interesting bits of information about the actors and the show. As well as the stories behind the dedication of the fans to save the show and through the love of Roswell fans have raised thousands of pounds (dollars) for charity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rites of Passage, 19 Mar 2004
"Rites of Passage" it a great little film. it stars Jason Behr (Roswell, Dawson's Creek), and Dean Stockwell. Its about a family with dark secrets. The main focus it the younger son, Campbell (Jason Behr), who is confused, wanting desperately to be loved the same way his father loves his older brother. Out of his yearning for acceptance, he puts the lives of that of his father, his brother and himself at risk. In the end he redeems himself, and finally gains the love of his father he wanted for so long. But there is always a price to pay.....
From the moment his first scene starts, Jason Behr steals the movie. For those of you who have not heard of Roswell, and those of you who have, this is another reason to admire the pure talent of this extraordinary young man. Its a great little film to add to your DVD collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Could not put it down, 21 Feb 2004
"Turnabout" is The last ever book based on the TV show "Roswell". its the final chapters, our young friends, Max, Liz, Marie and the others, are still on the run. They just want to be left alone. But the Government won't stop hunting them. when people they care about are kidnapped they decide to take action, that comes down to a massive showdown. If they have(fox) decide to do a movie, then it would be great to see this book on the screen. Great stuff, a good way to end the series ( in book format any) Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars ROSWELL DVD, SERIES 1, 21 Feb 2004
Well the DVD is finally hear, ( well in the US and Canada anyway). It will be out here in the UK, in April. I have seen the DVDs, (mine are from the states). For those of you who are thinking of buying the set, I say to you -BUY IT!. A lot of the music has changed, which is very sad, But its still worth buying for the Roswell experience. For those of you who have never seen it, but have heard of the show, Welcome to Roswell.
To you all, I say enjoy the experience, we have been campaigning for it for a long time, It was well worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I could read it again and again, 16 Nov 2003
I enjoyed this book, it is well written, and I could almost imagine seeing the characters, like it was a episode from the TV show. I almost felt what the characters were feeling, And it was nice to see (to read about), the "softer side" of Michael. A very enjoyable read!
