For my granddaughters bedroom.
She thinks it great but it is extremely small, she would have liked to be able to lay on it (and she is only 8!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Slightly bewildered but nonetheless pleased., 3 Nov 2010
This review is from: A Can Of Bees (Audio CD)
I am in full agreement with many of the sentiments in previous reviews. As a fairly recent fan of the band I have slowly collected the majority of Soft Boys recordings. But I am still slightly confused by how many different versions, mixes, takes actually exist. I have The Soft Boys release 1976 - 1981, this Yeproc re-release of Can of Bees and still don't have the original recording unless I seek out the original vinyl release!!! Other than that gripe I am pleased with the release overall, however I prefer many of the versions\ mixes available on The Soft Boys 1976 - 1981 release and highly recommend diehard fans get their hands on a copy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Highly underrated!!, 11 May 2009
This review is from: Mountain Battles (Audio CD)
The best Breeders release since Last Splash. While not being the most cohesive album, Mountain Battles is definitely the best sounding. Some reviews have criticised the production, but herein lies the beauty of the music. Mountain Battles is not technically or sonically perfect and nor does it it intend to be. It does however have a warmth and purity that most modern recordings lack.
