This film is a work of art. Through a variety of mediums Caouette has created something beautifully devastating. A reflection on a troubled relationship between a mother with psychological and son (Caouette). Tarnation is gripping from the start, the use of real footage entwines the you into a volatile journey, definitely worth seeing. The film also has some of the best and most appropriate use of music throughout.
