TOP power metal mixing elements of Iron Maiden and Metallica. A lot great riffs backed up with solid complex rhythm structures. Incredible vocal range used all over the record, from growling and low tones to incredible high tones. These songs should be a challenge to sing live, but I can confirm that Stu can delivery it!.

Very cool presentation of a great album that marks the return of the Queensryche sound. Innovative and diverse touching all the characteristics that made this band unique in the metal /rock scene. Great vocals!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best since Promised Land, 9 July 2011
As long time fan, a new Queensryche record is always re-check exercise of my musical boundaries limits. This time the band is showing again an innovative offer full of unexpected details with one of their best sound production ever. This is not metal record, it simply Queensryche! Songs like Hot Spot Junkie, Retail Therapy, At the edge, Broken, Hard times, Drive, I take you, The lie and Big noise, could fit in any of their post-Operation Mindcrime records.

Iron Maiden returns with the most ambitious album since Bruce's return, a mix of traditional maiden elements with progressive texture. Is not an easy album, it requires time to growth, but is full of high moments like Starblind and Mother of Mercy witch in my opinion are the song that better represents the album. Maiden fans will love it!
