Fly London Women's Mes Mid Calf Boots
Fly London Women's Mes Mid Calf Boots
Price: 56.16 - 125.00

3.0 out of 5 stars not waterproof, 13 Jan 2013
Its a shame as they are gorgeous nd comfortable, but theyre a fairweather boot. Dont try and wear them if you suspect it might rain as the strange way they are soled, means that water wicks straight in. I keep them as a second pair for dry days

1.0 out of 5 stars no good for kindle, 26 Dec 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The way its set up means the diagram for the sign is on the page after the word for what the sign is - ie they dont match up. Might be ok for printed pages where you can see whats ahead or behind, but for my new kindle i feel ive just wasted a tenner as its all over the place. Not happy

2.0 out of 5 stars let in water, 29 Nov 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I love the way the boots look, and fit and theyre comfortable, but they let in water. Doesnt even have to be raining hard. Just walking through grass or a bit of drizzle and the way the felt insole seems to be stitched so its visible as a layer to the outside means they immediately wick in water at the first opportunity.
Its not just annoying, it means if you dont constantly put dubbin or waterproofing on them, the sole will start to come away. I had to have mine repaired after less than 3 months, and the repairer said he'd had to repair several of these boots for the same problem. Flys answer is that theyre only a "fashion boot"

I still wear them, but only on dry days

1.0 out of 5 stars cheap and nasty, 26 Sep 2011

has broken and buckled after 2 weeks. I do use it with a buggyboard, so itd probably be fine for a baby, but certainly not for a toddler or for anything other than light use. Cheap flimsy chassis

4.0 out of 5 stars easy to use, 17 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
much easier to use than an ipod, and very small and compact. The little clip is great for clipping onto clothes when out for a run.

only thing is, its very quiet, but you can get round this by re-setting the factory settings and choose "rest of the world" rather than europe, because the european laws on volumes on personal listening stuff, are a lot quieter than the rest of the world

1.0 out of 5 stars false economy, 14 July 2010

what rubbish. Ipod feels like its going to fall out.Isnt secure at all. Doesnt sit flush to the arm, the strap is way too long for a normal womans arm. I had to wrap it round and tuck it in. I tried to run with it on and thought I was going to lose my Ipod. Waste of money. Have ordered one from somewhere else instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars excellent, 24 Oct 2008
an excellent book. Covers things in a really easy to understand way.
I have tried lots of "learn french" books, and this is by far the best. They should use it in schools!
