I went out and got this game yesturday as I am still waiting to get a Wii before I get te order of the phoenix but I wanted something to fill in the time for me. I have to say that the game isn't as bad as everyone is making out. Yes, it is level based and the free roam was a nice idea in the other games, however, the game plays similar to the Lord of the Rings movie games (which i really enjoyed) and the graphis on the characters are top. I am looking forward tp playing the game more but believe me, there are much worse games out there that get higher scores than this one has!

I didn't get into the shins really until last year, when, as most of their new fans were told, i expected them to "change my life."

Guess what.

They did.

This album is frankly incredible. Like the first 2 albums, it took me a listen or two to truly appreciate it's greatness but there is no doubting the amazing achievment that James mercer and co have come up with on this new album.

The lyrics firstly, are very complex and metaphoric, which, as I have found, means that you can make your own meanings. It feels as if the songs are written for you and you only and they are sung with such a passion and in such a unique voice that each and every listen makes it more special.

No, there isn;t another new slang here but they sure all hell come close with songs like Australia, Sleeping lessons and Black wave.

There are songs here as well, such as 'a comet appears' which my have you in tears if you take thier lyircs to heart.

A monumental achievement that should be in everyones record collection.

There are yet to be any direct reviews of this album so let me enlighten you.

This album is great fun. A very happy summery album with great tunes that'll make you smile on any summers day and most winter ones as well. Aside from the more famous of the tracks (move your feet etc) most of the songs are unknown however they are all great fun with fast drum beats and brilliant singalong lyrics.

Th alum isn for everyone hence the 4* rating but it is definalty for anyone who wants to enjoy their music....

I dunno wat some of the others are talking about below because this show was amazing. True the tickets were a lot of money but for the atmosphere and true showmanship of the band it was worth every penny.
It was clear that the band were enjoying themselves just as much as the crowd were and this was clear for all to see in the way they played and interacted with each other on stage.
For a band that has been around as long as they have, to still be making such fantastic concerts and to still have the impact they do on an audience it is a triumph.
All die hard fans, no, everyone with any liking for music should buy this album as it shows a band in their finest hour. Fantastic.
