5.0 out of 5 stars Great for 3DS XL, 31 Dec. 2012

I bought this for my 3DS XL after reading other positive reviews here. I have to agree that it is perfect for this. It is quite a snug fit but that is a good thing and offers fantastic protection - no chance of the 3DS XL rattling about here. Add to that the secure storage for up to 8 game cards, the netted pocket for my screen cleaner and headphones, the stylus holders, the DS logo on the top (so you don't open it upside down!) and this case is a winner all round.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff, 31 Dec. 2012

These covers are brilliant for the price (about £1 each exc p+p). The Wii-mote cover fits easily, the nun-chuk is a little harder to get on but that may be my inexperience with the latter.

Plus Plus Plus Points
1) good grip levels (especially when palms get sweaty)
2) Wii motion plus covers will fit over these covers (as will the ordinary Nintendo covers) and still allow the M+ connector to lock in place
3) fantastic value for money

(slightly) Minus Point
1) colours are a bit pale and bland - could have done with more dye in the mix :)

These covers are a great way of colour coding your Wii-motes (and nun-chuks) whether you have the original Nintendo covers or not.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nice idea, shame about the build, 19 May 2006
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
Bought this for my 5 year old's birthday, who is a huge Dr Who fan. We were expecting much fun to be had with his 6 year old brother (also a huge fan). Initially all was great, daleks trundled hither and thither on the lino floor (the only surface they would work on), shooting each other and emitting some great sounds. However, by the next day, the gold dalek wouldn't shoot unless you held the button down so hard you were in danger of pushing it right through the controller; one of the black dalek control levers kept sticking thus sending said dalek permanently to the right. In under a week, "Goldie" had a broken grill, which I had to glue back, the plunger was all floppy and getting the fire button to work at all was a major feat; meanwhile "Blackie" continued to spin in circles despite my best efforts to unstick the controller. And to cap it all I had to change the batteries in both daleks !

This could have been a fantastic toy (it was while it lasted) but for the appalling build quality. Save your money !
