5.0 out of 5 stars Eliabethtown origioal soundtrack, 21 July 2012

Having enjoyed the film Elizabethtown I had to get the soundtrack and although some of the most integral songs in the film such as Free Bird aren't on the Cd I wasn't disappointed. The CD really does take you on the road trip and journey Orlando Bloom and Kirstin Dunst undertook in the film. I think you may need to see the film to really appreciate the CD but it is possible to get into the music standing on its own. Elton Johns, My Fathers Gun and Neil Young's tracks are so great. Well worth a look at and listen to.

This review is from: Eat, Pray, Love (Audio CD)
If you were inspired by the film, Eat,Pray,Love, then you should be equally inspired by the soundtrack. Eat,Pray,Love really showed the journey of Elizabeth Gilbert and so does the music, each piece masterfully linked to the film and instantly taking you on Elizabeth's Journey. I loved this CD and wasn't disappointed. The CD is a clever quirky mix of classical and contemporary music my two favorite heart lifters are Neil Young's Harvest Moon and the amazing Eddie Vedder's Better Days. Lovely to curl up with a good book and fine wine.
