There were two problems I had with this. First off, the max level seems to be too low for the software to pick up. I'm not super up on technology but I did try and find solutions online but all I could find was other people with the same problem. I'm sure there is a way around this but for something which is supposed to be an easy all-in-one set up its damn frustrating.
Its possible its to do with windows 7 as all the documentation for the unit only seems to involve Vista or XP. There is a driver from the website but that never seemed to install properly, causing issues with the Task Access bar.
The other problem I had was with a hiss sound that never really went away. I figure its connected to the mic-jack input as you can reduce it to some degree by fiddling with the mix and the level but it never really goes away. Again, a lot of searching online just revealed more people with a similar problem. This wouldn't have bothered me too much but combined with the low-input problem meant that I couldn't recommend this at all.
