A very honest account of a genius who must have been very very hard to live with. But then "likeable" probably wouldn't have produced Apple, would it?

This review is from: Biocentrism (Paperback)
Interesting though it falls into the philosophical trap of hard solipsism - which is totally undisprovable.

4.0 out of 5 stars A duck-billed platypus is a what?, 10 April 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good book with plenty of animal stuff in it - though again sloppily edited. A duck-billed platypus is NOT a marsupial, it's a monotreme. This howler may have been in the other book I ordered though both books suffer from poor editing.

4.0 out of 5 stars What is a duck-billed platypus?, 10 April 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very good pictures and the text is quite good though sloppily edited. A duck-billed platypus is NOT a marsupial, it's a monotreme. I can't remember whether that howler is in this book or the other one I ordered, but there are others.

The little Hungarian girl using this is enjoying it (her English is already very good because she spent two years in England) and learning a lot. It's varied and imaginative.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fool and his money are soon parted, 4 Dec. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's true this is mostly about how a fool and his money are soon parted - very interesting and entertaining, particularly in t he insight that where there is an opportunity to cheat people, that slot will soon be occupied. I was a little disappointed in the analysis of how we can avoid the kind of cheating which felled the financial system in 2008 and produced Bernie Madoff. I could have done with more about credit mining - I phrase I had thought I invented!
