5.0 out of 5 stars If I could give this book 6 stars I would., 27 Sep 2000
Building upon the setting of Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide is truly excellent. Ideas are so well presented that you would believe this to be science fact instead of fiction. Ender and his companions draw you in. Orson pulls so many threads together in this book that the reader is always being given new concepts to think about.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unputdownable!, 27 Sep 2000
This book expands upon the setting of Ender's Game, and surpasses it. Beautifully written Speaker for the Dead gives the reader something to sink into and be a part of. Whilst you do not have to have read Ender's Game prior to reading this story I would recommend that the reader takes the time to do so.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a thought provoking book., 27 Sep 2000
Reading this book you really feel that you are part of Ender's life. Whilst I felt that the children were a little young. It is true that children can be very intelligent. I found it difficult to relate to the adult thinking expressed by these 6 - 12 year olds. Nevertheless a highly readable book providing the reader with a whole new world to experience.
