Speck CandyShell for iPhone 4 - Moonsicle White (White/Charcoal)
Speck CandyShell for iPhone 4 - Moonsicle White (White/Charcoal)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best iPhone Case, 30 Dec. 2011
I don't know how they do it, but Speck has managed time and again to make fabulous CandyShell cases for the various iPhone models. Whatever you do, if you are going to get an iPhone case, you will have to make a compromise : sacrifice style, feel and beauty for ruggedness and 10000% scratch defense. Nothing can hurt your iPhone in this little beauty.
This is because its got the best of both worlds. Other cases are made fully of plastic or a sort of metal and do not provide any shock absorbance for the jewel inside. Rubber cases are excelent shock absorbers but will ruin the style of the phone and make it look cheap. Besides, rubber cases are flimzy and do not inspire much trust.

But Speck has managed to perfectly combine both plastic and rubber to provide a rugged and classy outside frame, with a soft rubber inside to protect the iphone. The only downsides are that it can be a bit dificult to eject the phone from the case, and that it makes the phone slightly bulkier but not uncomfortable. I dropped my iPhone several times and it always survived flawlessly and I never worried, even during the fall. When I think of the iPhones with a broken back, I shudder. My Speck case is an insurance against it.

On top of it all, one sober case that is absolutely customisable case, even when one chooses one of the less traditional crazy color combinations (ex. turquoise and white). This is simply because of its plain back on which one can put a sticker, paint, or whatever one's creativity and imagination come up with.

All in all, i wouldn't go with anything other than the Speck Candyshell case for my iPhone case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Briliantly Innovative, but in the same streek, 26 Oct. 2011
This review is from: Audio, Video, Disco. (Audio CD)
From the very moment i heard "Civilisation" in the Adidas advert, I got excited about this album. Listening to it did not leave me disappointed at all! The least good track is very entertaining to listen to and the other tracks manage to mix a perfect balance of upbeat electro, rock and pop to make you want to dance anytime anywhere. What's most amazing is that Justice manages to keep very loyal to their own style and create mixes of sounds that are blissfully new. This album is, I dare say, better than their first one "Cross"; all tracks are impressive. If you like electro, you cannot fail with this album. It is highly recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Forgivingly Deceitful, 7 Oct. 2009
Hope is a beautiful thing to have; we must all work towards fostering it and keeping it in our hearts despites all the dificulties we may encounter in our lives. This, in a sentence, is the essential message of this DVD.

It is easy to be taken by emotion after watching "The Secret" and to consider all problems solved. The reality of the matter is that it is deceitful. There is no scientific backing to what is taught, and the mere fact that a collection of high figures back the message does not make it any more valid. Indeed, just because 1 million copies of X product are sold, doesn't mean the product is any good. It only means that there are 1 million people willing to fall for a trend. The trend in question is upheld by the vigorous elation one feels after viewing. The worst is that the euphoric state is then communicated by the said viewers to others. The result is that the movie spreads like wildfire on fuels of hope.

The film is dramatized and sets itself up as liberator of the masses from the evil grasps of the "secret groups" that tried to keep the secret away from us for so long. It fails to mention who did so, for what motive, when and in what context ; but the urgency in the emotion of the message sets an alarm in the mind of the viewer that forces his/her attention. Do not fall for the trap. Listen objectively to what is said and realize for yourself the lack of logic in what is being taught.

That said, the mind does have power. When one hopes/prays/dreams/wishes one fuels oneself with the energy required to materialize one's objective by making the objective more real in one's mind. Ideas first exist in one's mind after all before it is implemented in reality. Its a reminder if you will that all is never lost and one can always muster the required efforts to achieve the bigger goal through many smaller goals ; but only under the condition of being emotionally, and psychologically strong. The strength is only required to face the difficulties life throws at us.

"The Secret" circumvents the condition of " mind" strength and as such appeals to people more than the idea of working. Yet the idea of work is indirectly present, in the form of "hobby" or "devotion to one's passion" if you will.

In the end, this book/movie is not for the realist/cynic. It will aggravate the people of this group for its lack of logic. Yet is very useful and inspirational for the dreamer/optimist or the emotionally fatigued. It is good at reinvigorating the soul of those that need it.

5.0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT GAME!, 14 April 2009
Everything is awesome about this game. The immersion is immediate, thrilling, and never boring. It is realistic, or at least seems to be, and is mighty fun. The end scene is amazing and makes you wish there was more to play. Luckily the multiplier is amazing.
