5.0 out of 5 stars Very cute and don't easily come off!!!, 10 Jun. 2014
These are very cute, they look great and I find that my son doesn't pull them off as easily as most other socks. Also lovely quality and wash well.

This outfit is adorable, great sizing, it fitted my 10 month old son perfectly. It is also not too thick so he didn't get too hot

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping, 26 Nov. 2011
This review is from: Still Missing (Paperback)
This is one of the most gripping books I have ever read. Its is superb. I was advised by the shop assistant when I bought my copy to make sure I read it when I had a free weekend with nothing else to do as I won't want anything disturbing me from this book. I wish that I had taken her advice and not tried to read it at snatched moments as you never want to put it down and you just want to keep on going. Read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I learnt to knit in no time!, 7 Oct. 2011
I hadn't picked up a pair of knitting needles since I was 5! Needless to say that I could remember nothing. This book really does take you through it step by step and it has spotted common mistakes and has guidelines on how to avoid and rectify those mistakes. It then takes you through different projects which helps to build your basic skills and before you know it, you can knit!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, 8 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Her Fearful Symmetry (Paperback)
It is a very rare occasion that I say that I absolutely hated a book, this is one of them. I haven't read such a terrible book in a long time. It starts ok but then descends in to ridculousness. Martin is the only redeeming feature in the entire book

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it, 8 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Innocent Blood (Paperback)
I randomly discovered and read Grave doubts and absolutely loved it. So I decided to try her next book and truly wasn't disappointed. I don't want to give anything away so all I can say is that I read this book on an 18 hour plane trip (not including stop overs and waiting around) and I didn't turn on the in flight entertainment once, I was too gripped. In fact I got home exhausted and insisted on finishing the book before I went to bed or did any thing as I was desperate to know how it finished! Reading Elizabeth Corley actually introduced me to crime books, I only wished that she had more books!

5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant place to find ideas!, 25 Jan. 2011
I've lived in London for 10 years but haven't really done any "London Stuff" for the last few. So I decided I wanted to see more of the city and was recommended this book by a friend. It's full of wonderful and really interesting ideas and also reminded me of things that I had always meant to do and never got around to. Also any of the ideas that I have done within the book I have found really cool. Its a definite must for Londoners.... If you want to have a completely random day out, just pick a number, look it up in the book and do whatever it suggests!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent information, 4 Jan. 2011
We had space for both this travel guide and its best known competitor and I have to say that what set this book apart from its rival was its wealth of additional information (without being inaccessible). It describes the highways that you travel down to particular places so that you know if there are interesting landmarks to stop along the way. The passages about local history and culture were really interesting and well written. But most importantly it had some brilliant ideas about what to do in NZ that weren't in other books, for instance it suggested mountain biking the Queen Charlotte Track and gave lots of information and advice about it and that ended up being one of our favourite activities in NZ. It's rival may be slightly better on information about restaurants but this one was definitely less dry and more interesting
