5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, do it all, keyboard., 3 Oct. 2010
Had this a few months now, so I know just what it's capable of, which is a great deal. For a little over £200.00 this keyboard has already provided me with many hours of fun and more serious time spent in my efforts to learn. Actually, that's all fun as well. I had a mini key Yamaha keyboard years ago, and whilst I got a lot of fun from that, I found the keys a problem, so gave up after a few months. Do not go for mini keys, even for a child, unless it is really cheap and very strictly just for fun. I didn't go for one with a full set of keys, as on a piano, as it's not required, and this one takes up less space. I have recently purchased a tiger keyboard stand, and can set a more exact and comfortable playing height than the table top I was using. The gererated instrument sounds are first rate, with hundreds of them; with lots of other 'fun sounds', including several drum sets, that you can record on the keyboard and play back within your own tunes. There are a number of popular tunes already in the daterbase which picks a suitable instrument and 'style' for that tune. There's also a few built in teaching tunes, where the notes to play are shown on the screen. The screen isn't large, but I have no trouble with it in use. I'm learning some simple keyboard tunes out of books from my local library, and have picked them up very quickly using the single key chord mode. Another good fun feature allows you to play made up tunes that always sound O.K. as the inbuilt programming picks suitable notes for whatever chords you play. Of course, you don't have to use any of these features if you can already play. The keys can be made 'touch sensitive' at the push of a button, and with the various pianos available, the sound is quite simply superb. Yamaha have made a great job of this one, with so many more features than I have the time to mention in this review. I haven't regretted buying this for a second, in fact, for the money, it's probably the best purchase I've ever made.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tiger Keyboard stand, 28 Sept. 2010
Very happy with this product. I'm using it with a fairly large Yamaha keyboard, but it would easily hold a lot more weight,
yet it's fairly light, folds flat, and therefore takes up little space when not in use, and the quick release system really
works well. It's ready for use in a few seconds, and seems perfectly secure. I use it at the same sitting height all the
time, so have simply marked the linking cog positions with a felt tip, so I don't have to guess if it's at the exact height
I want. Very solid in use. Great value for money. And just a word about Amazon; very quick standard delivery.
