Invero Black TPU Gel Case for Apple Ipad 2 Includes Screen Protector (All Versions)
Invero Black TPU Gel Case for Apple Ipad 2 Includes Screen Protector (All Versions)

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, 6 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Great for keeping the pad protected. A little rough around the edges and quite stiff so putting on is a bit of a struggle. The ports are all cut out in the correct places with the exception of the data port which slightly bends out the way when inserting the cable. This isn't a problem because the edges are flexible enough. I haven't had any problems after a couple of years and it's still in perfect condition so I'm happy with purchase.

BTW, for some people, it isn't a kit and it didn't come in a tin. If you can't write an adequate summation then don't write at all, it's not helpful.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but actually have a better use! Dual Play but also Dual Use., 6 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The glasses I can't really fault as they do the job as intended. The problem is the technology they are used on. For dual play your 3D TV stretches each side of your console's split screen to the full width of the TV. The problem here is when stretched it loses quality and also it's aspect ratio so your wee fit looking COD gun nut now looks like a wee dumpy COD gun nut. The glasses are of adequate quality and should last a while if you don't sit on them or chuck them in a drawer with your encyclopedia's. Often people complain about quality but it's usually the quality of their brain that breaks their products.

Anyway, the glasses have a better use....some people can't see 3D images either because they have a genetic condition, blind in one eye or even just have one eye. For these people, if someone in your house wants to watch a 3D movie then that bombs you out because even with one eye it's still a fuzzy screen, so you are relegated to the bedroom to watch The Housewives of Orange County. Fear not, the next time a 3D movie is on you can sit on the couch with your own housewife and pull out your Dual Play specs and watch the movie. It won't look any different from any other movie you watch, that's assuming your missus hasn't chucked in the latest movie by Matthew McConna.....MacConah.....McConnich.......Channing Tatum! So Dual Play and Dual Use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun little time waster., 6 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Nice little game which is not much different from previous generations except 3D of course. Challenges to complete and free flying mode lets you get practice in, but you are limited to just a couple of minutes. The game looks good and is a worthy benchmark of the 3D capabilities of the console. Extended play you will become bored but it's captive enough to pass some time while you're waiting or traveling. Graphics are what you expect, nice but not dazzling.
I wouldn't have any doubts in recommending this game to anyone as it's still fun to play although limited. For instance, there's no maps other than the island which is why I say it can become boring after a while. With more maps and different terrain this would have been a belter of a game but as it is it's just a bit of fun.

1.0 out of 5 stars Non-stick? Tell that to the mush that used to be an egg., 6 Feb. 2014
I agree with all negative comments here. This is undoubtedly the worst frying pan I have ever owned, even though it's the most expensive. I don't know what they're using on the adverts but it isn't the pan I have. This company should be sued for their misleading information.
I had problems right from the start with food sticking and cooking unevenly. The "non-stick" surface chips off almost immediately and I was using plastic tools. Food sticks to this pan more than food in a stainless steel pan. This company are stealing our money and replacing it with something worthless. There's nothing I hate more than a company claiming something but in reality it's the exact opposite. I wouldn't take one of these pans now for free, in fact I wouldn't take one of these pans now if I was being paid to take it. If fact if you offered me one I'd take it, throw it away and hit you over the head with a better pan.
Summary: Non-stick? No. Easy to clean? No. Durable? No. Well made? No. Even cooking? No. I could go on but the only thing I'd say yes to regarding this pan is a refund. Oh, and the handle is loose.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brill piece of kit., 20 Mar. 2009
So it looks like Paul "VideoNerd's" review was about Linux and not The A150. This is the problem these days where people are too quick to complain, I mean 1 star?
The Linux version of this Netbook is not so hot unless you A) Know about and have the patience to use it, B) You want to save a bit of money.
Paul mentions poor battery life at around 1hr, doesn't give the whole picture and the machine locking up often. I'm not sure about the Linux version but under XP you get around 2 hrs of internet browsing. As for the screen, you knew about the resolution before you purchased it right? So don't complain about it. A 1024x600 screen won't show you a full web page so you will have to scroll. If you thought different then you shouldn't have a computer at all. By the way, I hooked mines up to my 42" HDTV and played Need For Speed smoothly at full 1920x1080 which I was NOT expecting. So far mines has not locked up, maybe that's due to me using the more reliable and more stable XP. I don't know what he means about the recovery disc, one comes bundled with it and even to make one you don't need another computer.

Let's move on to D.E. Smyth. You can't download on it, are you sure? Maybe YOU can't download on it but I can. Maybe by download you mean there's no optical drive to install anything. Do people not research things before they buy them? Get an external DVD player. You all seem to forget that this is a cut-down laptop, anything missing is intentional although the only thing missing IS a DVD drive. It's for carrying around easily when out or on holiday. You can use it to connect to people back home, finish your documents or use it for whatever. If you need to install stuff, do that at home. If you can't download on it then there's something wrong with YOU!
R. Revell has screen problems, yeah your son broke it but you gave the A150 1 star because your son is accident prone. Don't buy another Acer, move on to something else to moan about.

Why not tell people about it's performance and what it DOES have. For what it is, it's actually quite a performer. It's no powerhorse but is more than capable of doing the tasks it was designed for hence the name "Netbook". If you are trying to compare it with other laptops or moan about what it can't do then you're the mugs for buying it. I can play games on mine that won't play on my 2yr old £700 laptop. Games like return to castle wolfenstein, need for speed underground and red faction. Granted they are a bit old but it is only a Netbook innit? So you can play games, browse the internet, perform video calling, work on documents, send email and use skype, all without extra hardware or wires. I installed the beta version of Windows 7 on mine just to check and it worked just fine. I'll bet Windows 7 won't even install on my other laptop.
Listen people don't listen to the ones who only give 1 or 2 stars, they don't know what they're talking about. you can't fault the brand if you have a broken one or if you don't know how to use it right or if you didn't research before buying. The A150 is perfect for it's intented use and beyond so don't buy it if you expect it to perform like your desktop. Buy it if you need something ultra portable that can keep you connected and hold your work.
Connections:
1 Internal wirless card
3 Usb 2.0
1 Multi-card reader
1 SD card memory expansion port ( more suitable for the solid state HDD version)
1 Ethernet port
1 mic input
1 earphone/speaker output
1 VGA out

1GB DDR2 expandable to 1.5GB
120GB HDD
Intel Atom N270 1.60GHZ
Intel 945 Express Graphics D3D compatible (up to 220mb shared)
High Definition Audio

The specs above are also present in more expensive Netbooks so why pay more for the same? You will only be disappointed with this Netbook for two reasons. 1) You get a faulty one. 2) You're just a moaner anyway.
OK, I've said enough. :)

1.0 out of 5 stars Mark Knopfler is definately in Dire Straits!, 24 Oct. 2007
This review is from: Kill To Get Crimson (Audio CD)
One reviewer wrote, " Five perfect albums in a row
How does this guy sustain this high level of writing and playing?" Who are you, his PA? This album has continued the trend since Dire Straits broke up, well since the last couple of Dire Straits albums to be more precise where we have slowly seen Mark Knopflers alter ego slide in. High level of writing? Have you even listened to what he is singing? more like simple lyrics and uninspired music. It doesn't feel like there was much effort in creating this album and even less effort recording it. I'm sure he fell asleep while singing and someone filled in with music while they revived him.
Believe it or not, I am Dire Straits biggest fan and have all their albums on Vinyl & CD, even the last couple as there are one or two classics on them. Since Knopfler went solo and also when he teamed up with others I have been extremely disappointed with his work and have not bought any of his stuff. You might think I am trying to compare to Dire Straits, this is not the case as there are many others who have left popular bands and been highly successful as a solo artist with a different sound. The difference with them is they have put thought and effort into their work and have shown they are still inspired.
If Mark Knopfler manages to produce another album after this flop I won't even give it a second glance. He hasn't produced anything good for years so I doubt it if he ever will again. Maybe he should team up with Elton John so that when the album flops they can at least blame each other.
