3.0 out of 5 stars No Rupert Brooke here, 1 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
disappointing not to find even one Rupert Brooke poem. Otherwise emotional. Not quite what I was looking for.
Have to be in the right mood for contemplating these works.

4.0 out of 5 stars Delightful, 1 Sept. 2013

Despite its age, makes entertaining reading. Many poems remembered from my own childhood.

Have always loved the Owl and the Pussycat, which is still quoted or recited in today's world

Time capsules too mixed up ..Rather confusing. Had been expecting something more interesting, but then again, one shouldn't expect, just read and digest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super entertaining, 1 Sept. 2013

Can't believe it hasn't been made into a film!
Beautifully written, one is transported along on this cloud of the ridiculously funny and absurdly impossible
creation of Jonas Jonasson's imagination.

The Private Patient (Inspector Adam Dalgliesh Book 14)
The Private Patient (Inspector Adam Dalgliesh Book 14)
Price: £4.74

3.0 out of 5 stars Good light reading, 1 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Instantly recognizable as a P.D. James mystery!
Most enjoyable, for anybody who likes a good Adam Dalgleish story.
Wonder if it has been televised.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beware of second hand items, 8 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This second hand Kenwood Chef looked good and in perfect condition, but after only a few times of use, it stopped working and now only works spasmodically. So, not reliable and I am disappointed.
Having it examined by an expert will be too expensive for me, naturally, I don't use it as much as I had been expecting to, so money wasted.
