5.0 out of 5 stars Manchester meet Leicester., 12 Oct 2004
This review is from: Kasabian (Audio CD)
Kasabian are four lads from Leicester, with the swagger and air of arrogance that .today's music needs. They have blended the sound of Manchester's finest and brought it up to date. They have been likened to such acts as Primal Scream and The Stone Roses and their sound emulates the days of the Manchester swaggers.
Their debut album is packed with haunting synth, intense guitar riffs and blistering vocals. Club foot is crammed full of energy and is guaranteed to have you jumping up and down wailing "ahhh ah ah ahhh". Their synth genius is proved in I.D. with its atmospheric build up. LSF is an anthem for the masses with Tom's lyrics once again causing your head to nod involuntarily.
This album is an article of genius, an ensemble of brilliant tracks with a militant edge that gives the listener everything they need.

5.0 out of 5 stars An fine blend of style and fun., 30 Aug 2004
This review is from: Keep It Unreal (Audio CD)
On hearing this album i was astounded at the effortless way in which different musical styles and genres can be blended to form a truly amazing album. Beginning with the cheeky big beat bounce of "Spandex Man" and the soft soulful vocals of "honeydew". It must not be forgot that this is also a toungue in cheek album which is shown in "Shanty Town" a sea fearing story starring a Whale, and "fish" which displays Andy Carthy's obvious obsession with all things Fishy.
This album is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
