5.0 out of 5 stars A great read if you're interested in how to influence beheviour, 7 Jan 2014
"Hooked: A Guide to Building Habit-Forming Technology" is the new book from Nir Eyal. This is a great read if you're interested in technology, and the way you can get people to use your technology based products (apps, sites, etc).

It guides you through the four steps you should take to engage users. It also gives countless examples of each step, with great case studies.

Every chapter gives a summary of its content, as well as actions you can take to implement it.

I read this book in a couple of days. If you're at all interested in technology, new media, and how to try and influence behaviour, get a copy (physical or digital)of this book, and enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars How following your passion is fulcral, 5 Nov 2009
I had great expectations for this book, being a fan of Gary's style. I must say that Crush It! doesn't disappoint. Gary's tone gets you energised from the first page. He really believes in his message, and it comes across. He guides us in creating our own personal brand. If you have a passion (as most of us do), you must follow it, work like hell, and the results will come. But you must read the book to know all the details, from the man himself. Ah, and it's small book. I finished it in two evenings. The essentials are all there, with no beating aroud the bush. A must.
