Brown PU Leather Case for Canon PowerShot G11 G12 Camera with Tripod Fixing Screw Hole as SC-DC65A
Brown PU Leather Case for Canon PowerShot G11 G12 Camera with Tripod Fixing Screw Hole as SC-DC65A

5.0 out of 5 stars Tan.... as Cool as the other side of a pillow !!!, 9 Jan 2011
I bought this Tan case for my New Canon G12 camera, and it fits perfect and comes with a matching Tan leather strap.

It has a very soft material lining to protect the interior, there are brass studs that go so well with the Tan leather, yes very 50s looking.

Compared to the original Black leather Canon case . its not worth the money 75 reduced to 60 plus they are haveing a laugh, yes the you get a Canon logo badge attached to the case and the leather may be of a fractiopnal better grained leather that most people would never notice and Canon dont even supply a case strap, but youll get the strap with this Tan case..............So go for the Tan and forget the Expensive Canon.

5.0 out of 5 stars nice music but bring out the DVD...................., 5 Aug 2008
Yes this is very nice easy going music.

But its the film i am more interested in, this has to be one of the funniest films i have seen in years.

Jean Rochford who has a similar look to Peter Sellers of the (inspector cluseau fame), Jean Rochford comes from a long line of Cowards and he will say or do anything to make himself look Good, like the regular guy that has bravado and guts anything that may even make himself look interesting irresistable in the eyes of a Special woman....namely the fabulous Catherine Deneauve. she wants a little more than for him to carry her bread stick.

If you liked La cage au faul (BIRDS OF A FEATHER)...with the 2 gay guys that own a night club come Burlesque, youll love this film..............only its never been released on DVD....why????..... pardon mon affair is another that is brilliant film also starring Jean Rochford, hard to get hold of its a must have... there was re-make in a film called (Lady in Red)

Two of Frances most well known famous actors not to leave out marcel Mastriano or Alain Delon.. can you beleive that.

Please someone out there ... RELEASE THIS FILM....

JUST HAVING THE SOUNDTRACK IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.... but worth having anyway

5.0 out of 5 stars 6 stars if it were possible XXXXXX...there, 1 Aug 2008
Anything that can be said has been said so I wont go on to much...In my view for me this is without doubt one of the best films I have seen in years, Monica Vitti is so stunning even mesmerising. Beautifuly shot. A girl myseriously disappears while on a yachting trip after that the search begins by her Lover and her best friend...(what are friend for) and what use are lovers ??. I feel that many men and women will relate to certain main characters in the way they act out there lives, I wont give anything away.cos thats the kinda guy I am.

I would also suggest seeing L'Eclisse also starring Monica Vitti and the stylish Alain Delon (good hair) also Red Desert I think it may be released on dvd region 2 in October 2008 its available on region 1 at present.plus La Notte is a must as well.

Michelangelo Antonioni's study of the idle upper class,is a gem. The quality of this Criterion dvd is second to none. And the 2nd disc with the audio commentary by film historian Gene Youngblood is fascinating..

Buy this with no hesitation you will not regret it..

Two Women [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]
Dvd ~ Sophia Loren

1.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Film, But only 1 star for the poor quality transfer., 1 Aug 2008
Screen goddess Sophia Loren won a very well deserved Oscar for her strong and vivid portrayal of a war ravaged widow in the director Vittorio De Sica's neo -realist classic. two women chronicles the dreadful harrowing ordeal of the beautiful widow Cesira (Sofia Loren) and her shy and sickly daughter rosetta (eleonora Brown) as they escape the daily air raids in Rome by fleeing into the countryside.

The pair make there exhausting journey through and over corpses strewn mountains and burnt out valleys only to be brutally raped by the soldiers when they seek shelter in an abandoned church. all very very sad...seemes not to much has changed in the past 60 years.

Survival and shere perseverance in face of adversity. Two women is a very frank film with the universal message that our shared humanity transends all ethnic or political differences.

Sophia Loren can fit into comedy as well as serious in a blink of an eye. you just dont come across women like this in the main... charismatic, suffisticated, charming, and what a figure. produced by her husband Carlo Ponti....lucky man.

I warn you in advance this copy by Alpha video is a dreadful transfer one of the worst i have ever seen images are fuzzy low contrast poor colour about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.Alpha wake up and smell the popcorn

But its worth watching it just to get an idea what its all about, then give it away....perhaps one day a major company with money will make a quality transfer.

3.0 out of 5 stars How Low can you go, Weak all round, 18 July 2008
This review is from: Un Flic [DVD] (DVD)
What a pity. Whatever anyone thinks of Melville good or bad, i cannot believe any right minded person could believe for one moment that this film could have been acceptable then or now. The plots and heists could have been invented by a 9 year old with the help of Gerry Anderson from thunderbirds fame. The drawn out train heist with the model train and helecopter with wires were too obvious for words while actor Richard Crenna makes a meal of it he always looked very uncomfortable in this part. There was very little dialogue few words spoken throughout, but on a positive note if it were not for the suave good looking and cool Alain Delon and the Fabulous Catherine Deneuve it would have been a super major flop, But for me I would buy anything that these two stars are in. The background song is brilliant but i do not know which french lady is singing, but its perfect. Make your own mind up anyway.

Forget who produced and directed it, see and for what it was and is, worth watching and keeping it for your collection only for Alain Delon and Catherine Deneuve. ps look out for the obligitory French slap round the face and the sqauking seagulls.........Go for It.

you know what, perfums are very personal are they not...you cannot beat most of the classics be it for men or women...But this one Oscar De La Renta for a man (pour Lui) has the most amazing smell i have ever known, its quit unique and unlike most of the others that are either to heady sweet or some smell like melons you get the picture....this will open up all kinds of doors for you. dont forget to take a shower before you use it....go Get it if you can find it ....1st stop Harrods.

The copy i bought came from the USA region 0...but i must warn you the quality and sound is really that bad...But its a classic, Tod Slaughter comes across as totally insane by anyones standards, its now obviously very dated but it doesn't matter, its good to own it.Listen out for the Dick van Dyke cockney accents,, (very Mid Atlantic) Gawd blimmey guv ya tumbled me gyame....Johnny Depp need not worry, as he's acting is not that different.

Well you may not have heard of this film, but you will certainly know of Vivien Leigh, from (Gone with the wind).Set during the 2nd world war in London, a brief chance meeting with Robert Taylor son of very wealthy parents who have a home and land not similar to the Queen Anyway its Love at first sight, a proposal of marrage....Vivien L is a Dancer (Ballet that is)..........She is Sacked due to meetings with the love of her life, she falls on some very hard times with her best girlfriend also a Ballet dancer...They get into something unacceptable in those days. Vivien reads the paper while Robert Taylor is away she thinks he is dead killed in action. Her entire world falls apart she's in a complete daze. much Later he returns from the wars. he then explains it was an error. Do you think its plain sailing from here on...No Way. Vivien meets R.T parents Riddled with guilt and concience that drives her crazy, that only a person with honour and integrity would relate to...Not many people these days have real respect for each other, times have changed....But the ending WOW....BUY THIS....DVD...its brilliant...Also buy her other film ANNA KARENNINA...SHE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL...AND THE SWEETEST SMILE..David Grant
