5.0 out of 5 stars Review Spooks Curse by Ben (age 8), 13 Nov 2013
This book is truly amazing and exciting plus really scary too. Its about Thomas Ward and his master, The Spook they go to try and defeat a creature the Spook has never been able to kill, the Bane. Its impossible to put down when you start reading I would give it a whopping 10/10 rating and recommend this book for people aged 8+ great book, but be careful if you scare easily.

Jess the Border Collie review by Dominika aged 8

Nell the sheep dog has a puppy called Jess , Jenny's dad does not want it, but she forces her dad to let her keep it. They become best friends and have many adventures. It is a very exciting book full of happiness, I would recommend it for girls aged 7 to 9. who like animal stories.

I give this book 10/10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sea Horses: The Talisman review by Dominika age 8, 8 Oct 2013
I think this book is great, exciting and very interesting. It is about two spirit horses, one is blue (the good horse) and one is grey (the bad horse). I couldn't stop reading it and didn't notice the time passing. I recommend it for girls that like horses. There is a whole series.

Goblins
Goblins

Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Ben's (age 8 yr) review of Goblins by Philip Reeve, 8 Oct 2013
This review is from: Goblins (Paperback)
This book is one of the best I have ever read!!! Filled with hilarious lines and humour .It is rated 5 star in my opinion and has a really good base for the story, the goblins here are stupid creatures, always fighting and causing trouble ...but one called Scarper is too clever by half and that's what starts this EPIC adventure. I like this book because it is full of the usual fairytale characters such as giants, princesses, trolls and knights, but they have original characters. Also there are lots of new ones like boglins and cloud maidens.

Recommended for all age groups and I read a lot of books and this is an awesome one!

1.0 out of 5 stars Jug leaks, 22 Mar 2012
Worked fine for a few months but then liquids started leaking through the base of the jug when both on the work top and during blending. Thought at first I hadn't re-attached the base of the jug correctly after cleaning but it turned out to be leaking through the blade spindle. Not impressed.

This review is from: Original Stomp Rocket (Toy)
A good value toy to have in the locker, my three aged 5 to 9 all enjoy having a blast with this in the park, and yes growns will love it too. The rockets certainly can go the distance! The stand is a bit flimsy so I usually carry 2-3 metal tent hooks to hold it firm, especially on uneven ground.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good thriller, 26 April 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I read this to my 8 year old daughter (might be a bit too scary for some of this age) and we both thoroughly enjoyed what is a dark and gripping tale. As in the tradition of all good thrillers you were nearly always left in suspence at the end of each chapter and therefore eager to read on. I felt it might have been improved with more background info' on some of the charcters and plot lines, but possibly this would slowed the pace too much.
