1.0 out of 5 stars Not the real thing, 9 Jun 2011
This is a really poor reproduction, not the real thing - or good quality. Go for a proper one elsewhere on Amazon Banister Fletcher's A History of Architecture

2.0 out of 5 stars Muscle shirts for grandad, 14 May 2010
Like the style of grandad t-shirts, unfortunately with these ones, they're made out of a lycra type of material, which makes even the most buff guy look like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1994 man-pregnant-with-baby film, Junior. Real shame.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bright Light of Black Light, 12 Mar 2010
This review is from: Black Light (Audio CD)
I'm a big fan of Groove Armada's early stuff. As usual, I didn't much like this album on first listen, but ever since I've clicked and am pretty confident this album will be a glorious addition to the up coming summer ! Love the 80s edges to this album, but there is still enough Groove Armada original special sauce to remind you of all those other colourful albums they've made. Great album and sure to find wide and instant appeal. Give it three plays, I dare you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value gaming, 5 Mar 2010

Skip all the non-essential extras and get the most cut priced ticket into gaming around. Wireless controller, no headset, great value, great for the casual gamer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Reading, 5 Mar 2010
There are plenty of tech culture books available, but this one is special, it's the original handbook for the modern web. Rambling in style, but still a perfect read for anyone wanting to come to terms with the thinking behind all internet trends, and want the internet is all about. Totally subversive, an excellent book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile and computer friendly., 5 Mar 2010
Great self powered mic, designed to produce rich crisp sound off USB. Been very good. Are mcs on the market with XLR and USB together though. Still, very happy with this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but with limits, 5 Mar 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is a great game with a really enjoyable solo story. Even a few enjoyable plot twists and really great 'tasks' like climbing up an ice cliff. My only complaint is that it's all a bit short. On completing the game, you get access to Special Ops missions, which are fun, but not as good as the solo game anyway.

Online play is the focus of this game of course, with many weapons and additions to earn by completing 'tasks' like 5 head shots or 20 kills with a particular gun. I did find online play a little plain compared to previous games I've played. I'd suggest Bad Company 2 as an alternative, because it has a bit more of a chaotic battle feel and a bigger focus on vehicles, over Call of Duty's more 'classic' feel.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Little Camera, 6 Mar 2009
Have had this camera a few months now, it's brilliant. Was originally comparing it to the much more expensive Sony camera, but am glad I opted for this one.

The good: Great video, much better than filming to tape, has a standard thread if you want to put it on tripod, 8 megapixel sensor lets you shoot video and stills, waterproof, uses standard cards, not proprietary Sony Memory stick.

The bad: Runs a little hot if you're filming for a long time, but not in a problematic way, can shoot video while filming, but only at 2 megapixel, you need to stop filming to shoot a full res. image, a bit slow taking a picture (3 seconds), anyone taking a picture for you needs to be shown how to work everything, even though there are two big buttons for video and film.

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit unnecessary, 6 Mar 2009
This is one of those extended episode, 'writer's strike' specials. It's not a bad episode, but is included in the Season 4 boxset, if you're buying that, you don't need to also buy this.
