O'Malley does not consider anything other than US equities and stock options. There are so many other routes to wealth used by the wealthy but they are not considered at all. in addition the book is very poorly (cheaply) produced and has not even been proof read properly.
This book is fine for the cricket obsessed but as a study of luck it falls well short of the mark. Frankly, there are better books on the subject. Smith tries to emulate the class of book that the tipping point or outliers falls into. However, this pales by comparison. It is shallow.
