4.0 out of 5 stars ... quite as large as it is - but it's comfortable to use and feels very robust, 16 April 2015

The strap itself probably doesn't need to be quite as large as it is - but it's comfortable to use and feels very robust.

4.0 out of 5 stars Impressive charger once you've figured out how it works, 21 Feb. 2015

The instruction manual could be a lot better, but once you've figured out how to use this charger you'll find that it can do pretty much whatever you might need with rechargeable batteries. The detailed display of battery state allowed me to identify which of my many, many batteries were still usable and which should go into the bin. The ability to individually control each battery slot is very useful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Neat idea, 21 Feb. 2015

A clever miniature tripod for small cameras that offers some stability for long exposures or bracketed shooting for HDR where you might struggle handheld. It doesn't offer a huge range of motion, around 30-ish degrees, but it is surprisingly solid for something so small. Shame it didn't come with a small rubber or fibre washer to sit between the camera and the tripod, but a visit to the local plumbing supply shop should fix that.

4.0 out of 5 stars but it will probably offer better protection from accidental drops or hits, 25 Jan. 2015

A neat little case for a point and shoot camera.

I bought this case for my RX100M3 which fits without any problems. This case has three compartments - one for the camera and a couple more for whatever else you might need to take with you. The smallest pocket can hold a couple of spare memory cards, or a USB cable. The mid-sized pocket is large enough to hold credit cards, cash, batteries .. possibly a slim SD -> USB adapter.

The zip pulls for the two larger pockets have large tags (handy if you're wearing gloves) and the zips themselves cleverly fold out of the way when opened so you don't have to worry about scraping your camera's LCD on the teeth. The belt loop will either fit over your belt and secure with a stud popper, or you can thread your belt through the loop for extra security. The case is lightly padded so it's a little bulkier than, say, a neoprene slip case, but it will probably offer better protection from accidental drops or hits.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent wireless headphones, 25 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I needed a new set of closed back, over the ear, wireless headphones when the headband on my ageing wireless Philips cans snapped after 8 years of sterling service. I've owned numerous Sennheiser headphones over the years and have always found them excellent, so I didn't have any qualms ordering these as a replacement.

The headphones themselves are a very comfortable fit with excellent sound delivery, even with the dynamic bass and surround sound modes enabled. The control buttons take a few minutes to get used to, but that's only to be expected. The base station could do with being a little heavier, or having stickier feet, as it's quite light and is prone to skating around when you want to turn the power on or off. Communication between the two units worked automatically out of the box and has enough range to stay connected all around the house and out into the garden.

Hard to fault really - the only minor annoyance I've encountered is that the power LED on the front of the base station flashes twice every five seconds or so to indicate that everything is OK which can be a bit distracting sometimes. Might have been better without the flashing. Or only flashing when there was a problem. Maybe I'll just put some tape over the LED.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids and adult kids, 25 Jan. 2015

A lot of fun .. not quite up there with Lego City Undercover, but still entertaining.

We experienced a couple of console freezes, one game glitch (character went out of bounds with no way to bring him back) and the camera can be a bit wonky sometimes. The story mode is a lot of fun, but once you've finished that the free roaming game play can get a bit stale.

4.0 out of 5 stars Usefulness may depend on the size of your hands, 6 Dec. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This grip marginally improves the handling of my M3. I have large hands (large enough that I ended up buying a battery pack from my D7000 so that I could get a decent grip on it), but this self adhesive grip really didn't make a huge amount of difference to the M3's handling in my opinion. I was able to get a secure grip on the camera before adding this grip, but I could imagine how those with smaller hands might not be so lucky. I feel like I have a better hold of the camera now, particularly when using it one handed, but I don't believe that equates to very much of an improvement in usability. This grip certainly doesn't make the handling any worse, but I can't say that it offers much of an improvement either. If this grip fell off my camera tomorrow I wouldn't be in any great hurry to replace it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact, tough battery pack for undemanding devices, 6 Dec. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to recharge my Sony camera on the go and it works very well. A spare battery for my camera costs 30 pounds for a genuine Sony item (I'm reluctant to use the dirt cheap 3rd party items), but this Anker battery pack is 1/3 of the price with very nearly 3 times the capacity and is more generally useful because it can charge other items too.

The battery pack itself is housed in an aluminium shell which should be virtually indestructible. There's a single LED that illuminates when the battery pack is in use which, unfortunately does not provide any indication of remaining charge until it reaches about 2% capacity when it should start to flash. The same LED is used to show when the battery pack is charging - again there's no indication of the state of charge so you can't check the charging process or take a guess at how long it will take to fully charge.

The only caveat with this battery pack is that it's output is limited to 1A maximum which means that it can't charge Android devices at full speed.

When I had to contact Anker's customer support in the past regarding their larger 10,000mAh battery packs I received excellent customer service and postage paid replacements so I had no qualms about ordering from them again.
