3.0 out of 5 stars Adequate, 7 Mar 2012
Bought to replace an earlier version which was not fully Windows 7 compatible. Whilst it still does all the basics and has added some facilities, in use it's clunky and slow, slower than hitherto on the same machine. If I want to review pictures and maybe view, adjust or crop, that will involve access to three separate pages, all available in the same PSP window. So a lot of screen is swallowed up, leaving small representations of images in the work area. And it's easy to lose track of where you are and what you're doing. Yes, it does what it says it will, it doesn't cost the earth, but it has lost the ability of the original JASC PaintShop Pro to accomplish simple tasks quickly and with ease, and I imagine that may well be what the vast majority of users seek.

I wanted to be able to adjust saddle height quickly and without tools. This is just the job, very well made and finished. A couple of little features show that thought has gone into the design - the 'bearing pad' for the locking lever is an example. Far from expensive. One small snag arises when dealing with a bike with alloy frame and components and a concentric suspension saddle post. The original allen bolt had to be tightened within narrow limits to secure the saddle post against movement while not squeezing the saddle post tubes and locking them together. I had dot-marked the old allen bolt to give a visible reference. This clamp operates on a free thumb-wheel bolt, and it takes a little time to find the right degree of pre-tightening before clamping. A dot-mark will appear on my thumb-wheel shortly!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 7 Mar 2012

Reasearched spoke wrenches at length before finding this one. It's very well made and finished and is great to handle and use. Spoke work is dull and can be hard on the fingers but using this key it becomes almost pleasant. Certainly far better to handle than the radial type. I'd prefer a bigger hoop to hold and manipulate, but, of course, the gap between adjacent spokes dictates and this one is just right and doesn't trap fingers against nearby spokes. Thoroughly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nearly perfect, 23 Feb 2012

The genuine article. Very well made, overcomes the one disadvantage of the Kindle - its unlit screen. This cover is superb; the light is not a 'clip-on' gadget, it's a cleverly designed integrated part of the cover and is perfectly stowed when not in use. Batteries are not needed - power is picked up from the Kindle. Four stars only though; it would be 5 stars if the price was not so astromonic; difficult to justify, I suggest.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bosch Cordless Shrub Shear, 29 Jan 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Need to trim a number of small shrubs; hand shears and powered hedge cutters far too big and heavy to manoeuvre, resulting in unintended cuts and damage! This is a unique tool as far as I am aware. Well designed & made, as you would expect from the name. Odd packing/storage - a loaf-shaped tin. Tool does the intended job well. Light and controllable; cutters not too fast, so a really good result can be achieved. Battery life fair, combined with slow charging mean 4 stars, not 5. Very good value, well worth the purchase.
