Solid drive that works well, as you'd expect. Only time will tell if it remains stable, and that is the big test, but so far it's fine as a backup drive for signed off video projects.

4.0 out of 5 stars A positive review with some slightly negative points further down to be considered by potential purchasers., 2 Feb. 2015

I'm not an expert on blenders, but here's some feedback I think might be helpful. I researched a lot before buying a blender, and initially got the Tefal Blendforce as it was highly recommended, but found it lacked power and solidity. Replaced it with this blender (1,200W motor instead of Tefal's 400W) and have to say I'm very pleased. It is a very powerful blender, it looks good, it has a solid, heavy glass jar and it copes very well with smoothies, soups, crushing ice etc. I used to own a Vitamix and this is NOT the same. This blender will get things very smooth, but will not get anything like the results of a Vitamix...but then, let's be real, the Vitamix will cost you 10 times what the Duronic costs and you cannot expect that level of blending for 1/10th the cost. For the price, this is really good.

Let me give a few little caveats...not all bad, but worth knowing.
1) I read in some reviews that the control knob is very smooth and can be a problem to use with wet hands. This is TRUE. Easily overcome with a cloth, but if you have a weak grip, or don't have a cloth handy, this might be very annoying.
2) Many reviews talk about the unit 'shaking about' on the surface because of the power of the motor. Just to be clear, the unit 'jumps' when it is first turned on because the motor accelerates the blades so fast, but after it has been started it sits steady on the surface as it blends. If you are using the 'auto clean' button this starts and stops several times so it's worth keeping an eye on it as it will jump each time.
3) Talking of 'auto clean' be aware that the wording of this is a sales gimmick. It is basically using the blender in the usual way but with warm or slightly soapy water. The 'auto clean' setting is also the setting recommended for soups etc. HOWEVER, although it is not a unique function, it DOES work...and if you put warm water in the unit immediately after use it gets it very clean. (I would recommend this as dried smoothie or soup left in the blend jug might stick to the mechanism, and this is NOT a unit that is easily taken apart for cleaning)
4) This might be a deal breaker for some people. If the unit is half filled with water (or very liquid soup etc) then when it is switched on the violent acceleration of the blades causes liquid to jump out of the lid, and in some cases if not held down tight might cause the lid to jump off, thus soaking you and the kitchen. This does not bother me as holding down the lid, or if using water putting a small cloth over the lid to contain the slight spray works fine. However, do NOT switch it on with very hot liquid in it as you will probably get burned. I am happy to control this, but if you are going to let different people, maybe younger members of the family, use this blender then you should be aware of this point.

I hope this helps

2.0 out of 5 stars Design fault...beware, 15 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As a kitchen rack it's fine...but beware. This rack is reasonably solid, can be used with or without the wheels, would give it possibly 5 stars...BUT...immediately I used it I discovered that at the edge of the top tray there is a really sharp piece of unfinished metal...on both sides. I cut my finger quite badly on this and have had to wrap them in plasters to protect the family. Apart from that it's good for the price, but that is a pretty bad design fault so I'd be very careful with this item. I like my knives to be sharp, not my vegetable rack...

5.0 out of 5 stars A great changing unit, shop around for best price though, 6 Jan. 2015

An excellent changer, fits the cot very well, the slide out shelves are SO useful and the front bar is great for towels, nappy bags etc. If you are pushed for space this is a great changer, but shop around, it can be expensive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Utterly useless, 11 Jun. 2014

This wheel was such a disappointment. The knee braces fall off continually, the wheel has NO sensitivity in the middle so you have to oversteer everything. The pedals seem well made but the overall feel is flimsy and the cable will not reach a seat unless you usually camp on top of the TV. Also, the wheel is VERY small...and plastic....and undrivable....and just rubbish.

5.0 out of 5 stars very impressed...., 2 Jun. 2014

I bought these batteries to use with the GH4 professionally and I am impressed. Unlike the generic batteries on the GH2 these batteries do show the remaining battery charge in the GH4 monitor (which is SO helpful) and I have to say I did a shoot at City Hall where I filmed over 100 minutes of 4K video (more than 64Gb of video) and the battery was showing only half empty by the end. It may well have packed up after a few more minutes, I don't know, but it was impressive and I didn't need to use any of my other three batteries. They charge reasonably quickly as well, so if you were on site with a few batteries and a double charger you should be all set. Definitely recommended (though do read the camera manufacturer's small print on using generic batteries instead of proprietorial ones....then ignore it as the obvious sales patter it is and get these batteries). Highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars Initial assessment very positive, 2 Jun. 2014

The U3 cards are reasonably new and this seems like very good value compared to other cards not he market. Have used Transcend cards for professional video without any problem for years and I have shot 4K video on this card with the GH4 with no problem at all. Having said that, I have shot 4K video with the GH4 on my previous U1 Scandisk Extreme cards without any problem either, so I am NOT saying that this card is definitively faster or better, but as a U3 card it probably is and, as I said, is very good value at £27. OH, and it's a very pretty gold colour....weeeeeee

5.0 out of 5 stars No issues with this charger, 2 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I'm a professional videographer using GH4 cameras and I've used the Ex-Pro chargers on both GH2 and GH4 and they are excellent. Not the strongest design, but you don't usually throw chargers around. I use them as a back up to the Panasonic charger when on site as charging two batteries simultaneously gives great flexibility when filming. For the price if you want a charger you can't go wrong with this bit of kit....recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars very slim and well made, 2 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This case is excellent. I wanted a case that would add hardly any size or weight to my iPhone and this case is slim and looks great (honest). If you are used to iPad cases that turn the device on and off when you open and close them then remember this doesn't, so you do have to manually turn the phone on and off (not a problem, just remember it's not magnetic when you use it). The case is solid enough to protect the phone, and most importantly the screen, but is not designed for throwing or regularly dropping your phone (if you are going to do that get a sturdier case). The only down side is that it takes some effort to slide the phone into and out of the case, but on the up side that does make the fit snug and safe (my previous case used to drop the phone out of it too easily). However, if you are regularly wanting to remove the case to put the phone in a cradle or sound system then the tight fit could be annoying. Apart from that, a top case...recommended
