5.0 out of 5 stars Very, very addictive., 30 Jan 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this game as I fancied trying something a bit different to the usual first person shooters which I usually buy. I put the game in, started playing it and before I knew it 3 hours had passed and I was frantically trying to get worms to "romance" and make sure my newly planted seeds had enough water. There are no real objectives in this game, but you can unlock achievements and earn in game points as your garden grows and you attract more Pinata. Graphically it's very pleasing with colourful animation and nice 3D gardens to appreciate. I have had no problems with the game freezing as another reviewer said, the game plays fine and an auto save feature helps to ensure you don't lose too much should something disastrous happen. Great game - deserves to be massive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Reading, 25 May 2004
At first glance, the price is the main thing that draws your eye when looking at this product. It is important to note however, that there are almost 1000 pages of solid evidence here. To people who have a keen interest in the Titanic, this is fascinating. The testimonies of survivors makes for interesting reading and you find yourself cross referencing what they say with other known events that happened that night. The book is attractively bound and housed within its own protective sleeve, made of stiff cardboard.
All in all - excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent budget player, 1 Jun 2003
I bought this DVD player on behalf of my brother, and he has ended up with a much better player than my 200 alternative.
For 60 he has got an out of the multi region DVD player (complete with scart lead) which seems to play a vast sample of discs within my collection. These include regions 1, 2, 3, 4 as well as Region Code Enhanced Region Ones which can prove to be a stumbling block for some multi region players.
Looks wise, it won't win any away awards but it also isn't a complete eye sore. The display looks a little old fashioned and the power button would feel more at home on a television, but these are minor gripes.
For sixty pounds you will be hard pushed to find a better DVD player and this will surely fly off the shelves finding its place as a new DVD player for people who haven't yet taken the plunge as well as people who may wish to upgrade their Region 2 only players.
Excellent value.
