5.0 out of 5 stars Belkin PureAV Siver Series DVI cable, 9 Sept. 2012

Extremely High quality DVI cable, recommended.

If I had to come up with a flaw it's that the cable is so thick its not very flexible, but thats due to the high quality of its construction.

Well, it has very good picture and sound quality.

There are however two main problems I've stumbled across:

1) Very noisy when playing DVD's, I can often hear it above the sound of the movie.

2) The SCART socket on the rear is so close to the audio output sockets that I cant have them both plugged in at the same time!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Movie, let down by the transfer, 28 Dec. 2006
This review is from: Days Of Thunder [1990] [DVD] (DVD)
I love this film, but I feel its been let down by the picture transfer.

The DVD says Widescreen 2.35:1, so I just assumed that meant anamorphic transfer for unsquishing onto a widescreeen TV...

...not so. It's 2.35:1 letterbox inside 4:3. So if you want to fill the screen on a 16:9 TV, you have to Zoom in - which inevitably lowers the picture resolution.

Great film, great soundtrack, but Paramount DVD or whoever manufactured it need to get their act in gear about the picture transfer.
