In a Genre dominated by preamble and descriptive narration, Mark Lawrence's voice comes as a breath of fresh air, Direct, fast-paced and vicious, the writing style is everything the protagonist Prince Jalan is not. A stylish rouge who enjoys empty vices and only inclined to action beneath the sheets or when running from danger. Jalan is an interesting character who through a journey shackled to his polar-opposite, the equally likable Snorri (but 100 times more inclined to violence) goes through some realistic characterization. The story is interesting and sprinkled with familiar faces for those who have read the Broken Empire trilogy.

The not-as-unlikely as the author would perhaps desire to have you believe duo journey across the Broken Empire on a quest of vengeance and rescue for Snorri with Jalan shackled almost quite literally for the ride. Anyone familiar with the Broken Empire trilogy will feel right at home and the author does not waste time rehashing exposition from the first series to set the scene, yet I believe any new readers would likewise slip into the world quite easily.

The book is filled with humour in the form of internal monologue and external action; the chemistry between our two heroes is fantastic and I am looking forward to the next installments of this series. I honestly cannot think of any negative aspects to comment on, you can see why for the last three years every single one of Lawrence's books have been nominated for the Legend awards (with Emperor of Thorns winning this year).

A fantastic effort, 10/10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Overall great product, just a few things to be aware of., 16 Feb. 2014

A lot of people's complaints are based around the size of the case. It clearly shows it is bulky in the pictures, and while the case does add size to the nexus five it doesn't look or feel particularly bad. Plus the added size is because this case is really thick and strong, unlike a lot of other cases and protectors on the market.

*Does the job it says it does.
*The blue looks really stylish
*Easy to take on and off so I only put the case on when I'm going out and take it off when I'm home.
*Very thick and high quality case

*The lip of the case gets slightly in the way of your thumbs when texting with it on, it took me a little while to get used to it.
*The flaps that cover over the headphone jack and charger socket are a little bit weird - if you plug in your charger with the case on your phone, it could bend and potentially damage both the cable and the socket itself. So watch out for that.

Overall I'm pleased with it but it might be excessive if you already have insurance for your phone.

Great mouse, does everything it says on the tin, I don't usually write product reviews but Anker's customer service is simply fantastic so I felt compelled to, especially when compared to such a great product.
If you're looking for an affordable gaming mouse this absolutely fits the description and is incredibly comfortable.
