5.0 out of 5 stars At long last!, 25 April 2006
I can remember watching this extremely creepy series as an 11 year old when it was first transmitted in the mid-70's, and the memories of it have stayed with me. I love the idea of animals suddenly deciding that they can do without man, also the theme of another classic, the also very creepy 'Long Weekend',If the idea of scary supernatural tales involving malevolent animals is your bag then buy this dvd.

1.0 out of 5 stars a complete fabrication, 8 Jun 2005
Nat Fraser was convicted in a Scottish court of law for the murder of his wife, and rightly so, in my opinion. There is nothing in this book which could convince me otherwise. All this book does is sully the memory of the dead woman, using misinformation and unsubstantiated rumour. Not worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars not before time....., 14 Nov 2004
in this age of 'classic punk' reissues it's good to see the banshees b-sides and back catalogue getting a digital wash'n brush up,alongside the release of hard to find items. admittedly, i'll probably only listen to the 1st c.d. in this retrospective(my love affair with the banshees lasted from '78-'82), but it's good to have all these early b-sides on one disc.i'm now looking forward to the reissue of the early albums in deluxe/remastered form....
