4K UHD = Extended Version only in 4K. Theatrical Version 1080p. UV = Both Versions in Digital HD.

DVD = Theatrical Version only.

The film itself is ok but overlong & a bit messy in parts.

1.0 out of 5 stars 40th Anniversary Edition is just Heavyweight Collection in disguised packaging, 19 Feb. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is solely based on the 40th anniversary edition & not the movies.

Priced at £49.99 at time of writing this review & with the new cover design which include the words '40th anniversary edition' you would think there was something special about this set. There isn't. The only difference between this set & the previous 'heavyweight collection' priced over £30 cheaper is a few art cards & the image on the outer case.

The discs are the same, in the same 6 individual cases, with the same sleeves. No new features.

So basically, if you think artcards & a new design on the cover of the outer box are worth £30 extra then buy it, otherwise it's a massive rip off intended to mislead customers into double dipping (or triple if you had the earlier undisputed collection).

1.0 out of 5 stars Advised to wait for a complete edition as 1 episode will be missing, 11 Nov. 2015
When this was first available for pre-order it was advertised with an image of the box cover that clearly stated it was a complete box set including the 2015 christmas special / final ever episode. I wonder if everyone who pre-ordered is aware that the description has since changed to sneak peak of the episode. I'm guessing the previous image of a near future complete set was uploaded by mistake.

2.0 out of 5 stars Legacy edition means same game, just updated kits & players, 29 Mar. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: FIFA 15 (PS Vita) (Video Game)
Disgusting that EA Sports are releasing the same game every year for Vita, simply updating kits & players. Menus, Gameplay, etc still same. Legacy edition title is misleading, small print shows it is just minor update to previous game. Could do this as an update rather than new release at full price but thats EA for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars Summary gives away the ending, 18 Mar. 2015
Don't read the above summary if you want to enjoy the novel, it sums up the entire book. No need to read it now!

A short description would be better

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Film of a Great Man, 19 Jan. 2015
This review is from: The Imitation Game [DVD] (DVD)
An almost unbelievable story inspired by real events. Alan Turing & his team of Codebreaks undoubtedly helped to shorten the second world war. Despite being initially hailed as Heroes, Turing has a secret personal life, he was a homosexual in a time when it was still a criminal offence in Britain...

Shocking, upsetting & a well crafted movie that stays with you long after the credits roll.

A must see.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Theory of Everything Review, 19 Jan. 2015
Beautifully made inspiring drama of the life of Professor Hawking. The film takes us through his early years at University & the diagnosis of his illness & battle throughout the years to publish his works whilst he is still able to. As his body gradually fails, his mind sharpens...

Great performances & inspirational story make this film well worth watching.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely my Tempo!, 19 Jan. 2015
This review is from: Whiplash [DVD] [2015] (DVD)
Edge of the seat drama revolving around a young Drummer in a Jazz band run by an unorthodox Teacher whose bullying antics inspire fear into his students. The film asks the questions how far would you go to achieve a dream?

JK Simmons brutal behaviour lights up the screen whilst the young Miles Teller gradually is pushed into a nail biting climax.

1.0 out of 5 stars Overblown nonsense now nominated for 9 Oscars, 19 Jan. 2015
I was surprised when this film achieved the joint highest number of oscar nominations in 2015. The film is just awful!

Cheap looking production, drunk effect editing, improvised acting & a story that drags.

Remind me again why the Academy favoured this over Selma?
