An excellent, enjoyable and well-written book, 15 May 2000
I thought that this was an excellent book. The contrast between June and Bernard (Intuition and Logic)was very well demonstrated. It is a book where you definitely have to read between the lines. The black dogs, to me, represented the potential for evil to exist in the most iddyllic of places. It is also a book that demonstrates that not all woman were dependant on a man to live their lives how they choose.
