If you're one of those crazy folks who still loves melody, convincingly delivered with punch and passion, this is for you.
Rest in peace Jimi; you left much too soon. You were one of the best, and most talented singers I have EVER heard.

They're as funny (or more) than Spinal Tap and musically they're much better. The ultimate combo of hot riffs and rip-my-guts-out-laughing lyrics.

We know now that Thunder's career as a recording artist will soon come to an end but woe to those who don't invest a little time in discovering this diamond. Possibly the most under-rated rock band in history (both in the studio, and live), Thunder has set the bar higher than anybody can reach.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kim is back...and how!, 12 Nov. 2007
This review is from: Ain't Life Amazing (Audio CD)
Thank God (or Ontario) for Kim Mitchell. Kim's killer new album is full of his quirky brand of undeniably Canadian rock. After a drawn-out creative drought and getting a day job (at Q107 no less!), we thought that was it for this Canuck's exquisite artistry but this new CD full of...great music! is a welcome comeback for this hugely underrated songwriter and guitarist.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reference book, 23 Jan. 2006
An excellent book for reference and plain fun! I'll soon have to replace my copy (due to excessive use!) as it makes for fascinating reading on the lives and achievements of people as varied as Kung Fu Tzu and Nelson Rockefeller. You'll be very happy to have this little treasure of information.
