5.0 out of 5 stars Sly And The Family Shoot-Out, 20 Aug 2014
An absolute blast! Any action film fan should see this movie. Funny and exhilarating all at the same time. Wesley Snipes and Antonio Banderas are fantastic in their roles. Mel Gibson plays a rather psychotic villain called Stonebanks, great to see him on the big screen again. Sly and team have done a great job making this 3rd instalment. Be sure to check it out at your local cinema and then get the dvd or blu ray too!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome action film - and underrated!!, 19 Mar 2014
This review is from: Escape Plan [DVD] (DVD)
Stallone. Schwarzenegger. Teaming up together in the same movie? Finally! Results? As the DVD/BluRay cover says: "non-stop thrills". Great movie and very enjoyable to all Stallone/Schwarzenegger fans old and new.

5.0 out of 5 stars It may be NEW but this is classic Macca!, 14 Oct 2013
This review is from: New (Audio CD)
A joy right from 'go'; the 49th album release from Paul sees him on top form. The help from 4 of the industries' top producers seems to have given Macca a shot of creativity. I've loved Memory Almost Full and Electric Arguments but NEW is by far McCartney's finest release since 1997's masterpiece Flaming Pie. With quality this good, I no wonder it's Amazon's top selling CD of the day (Monday October 14th) - and that's just the deluxe version!

5.0 out of 5 stars A good one for Woody fans, 6 Aug 2013
This review is from: Anything Else [DVD] (DVD)
Filmed in fabulous cinematic widescreen, this early noughties flick from Woody Allen (which he also stars in) is classic Woody! You won't be disappointed - the scene where Woody's character smashes a car up with a crow bar is worth the cost of the DVD alone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Live Kisses, an enjoyable 74 minutes, 9 Nov 2012
Ignore the very first review for this new McCartney film; how can you review something you have not seen?
I can tell you the musicianship and preformances of this film are very enjoyable and make for a good watch.

It would be interesting to hear Paul with a large string accompliment, which seems to be popular at the moment, with the likes of Sting, Kylie, Peter Gabriel and George Michael are doing.

A special at the Royal Albert Hall of Paul's "Kisses" songs and classic tracks 'mellowed' down and accompanied by strings? Sounds interesting to me.

If you enjoyed "Kisses On The Bottom", you'll love this DVD/Blu Ray!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ignore the fool who posted the review 'OMG'!, 21 Jan 2011

Ignore the chap who wrote that this single was 'tripe'. It is NOT! Adele is one of the most gifted singer/songwriters of the moment and this song only reaffirms this fact. Great song!

5.0 out of 5 stars A voice that needed an album like this, 5 Aug 2010
This review is from: Praise & Blame (Audio CD)
Before I start my review, does anyone know how to access the bonus content? The start up thing just freezes so I can't access it - anyone else have this problem? Anyway...

In one word: 'Fantastic': a Welsh Johnny Cash sound! Run On = fantastic, Burning Hell = fantastic, the album = fantastic.
Get it before it goes - sold out, it's that popular!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best film I have seen this year - forget 'Clash Of The Titans', 31 May 2010
When I left the cinema, a wide smile was etched upon my face, my faith in British cinema faithfully reasserted. From the picturesque locale of Reading, to the 'Why does Noddy wear a hat?' joke and the heart-warming story of 'she's with the wrong man, but I'll win her soon', CEMETARY JUNCTION simply marvels. The leading lads are perfectly casted in the tale of 3 twenty-somethings stuck in the working class cycle that their fathers too faced. Nice to see Ricky (Gervais) on his usual top-form-self (his rant about foreigners was hilarious!). Of course, what Gervais/Merchant project is complete without a Karl Pilkington cameo - (look for his round head, I mean, cameo when the lads burst into the dance hall half way in...).
Well done Steve (Merchant) and Ricky, you have made a Brit classic!
