This biography is an easy read about an amazing man.., 20 Nov 2010
Faraday was self educated with little mathematical knowledge but his discoveries changed the world as we know it.
The book explains how he progressed to the highest echelons of the scientific community, whilst remaining unpretentious and adhering to a strong religious belief.
I was surprised to learn that along with his 'electric' life, he made many advances in chemistry.
A nice read with plenty of "feel good" episodes along the way.
I would recommend this book.
