I've followed Skrillex though never bought any tracks by him. However, when I heard previews of this album, I was taken aback by how amazing it is. The album has a great energy to it. Also, it really hangs together well as an album and feels like a whole piece of work rather than just a collection of different tracks. It's really cleverly put together and cements Skrillex as one of today's top producers. Really enjoyable.

This is a wonderful album. IMHO up there with the first three TFF albums. My personal favourite (though they are all great songs) is "Me and My Big Ideas". Roland Orzabal is a genius. Highly recommend "Raoul And The Kings Of Spain".

This is a great collection of songs from Nasher. I like the fact he deals with a lot of different subjects in his songs and the fact they are all great tunes. Nasher is an excellent songwriter and his love of music and his talent for writing really shine through here. This is a really enjoyable listen and I'm sure a lot of people will find themselves singing these tunes long after hearing them. Yes, the songs are catchy and at the same time they cover a range of emotions - there are no fillers here. So, my advice if you're thinking of buying this album is, go for it. It's a great album and one I bet you'll be playing again and again.

In "Es La Vida Lar" Nasher sings, "Am I a genius or a fool". If Nasher asks this about himself, the answer is simple - Nasher is a genius. Nasher delivers ten fantastic songs here. The songs are direct, have a sense of honesty and are sung with real meaning, real emotion. The production is more stripped back which really suits the material. To my ears, every song is strong - it's hard to pick a favourite as every track stands up on its own. There is an emotional intensity to the songs and pverall, I'd say that each song proves that Nasher not only knows a lot about "Matters of the heart", he also knows how to write great songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Puts the fun back in funky..., 29 Aug 2011

Duke Slammer knows a groove when he hears it. Each track glistens with sonic splashes of funky groove mastery. The mood is light and quirky. You can bet these sounds will find a way to lodge themselves in your head where they will end up on continuous play. The tracks are served with a large dose of cool and their funky rhythms are guaranteed to please. It's very difficult to categorize - it's such a delightful mixture and that's its strength. If you're interested, preview a couple of tracks - my faves are Go$$ip and Hop One Dans Le Jardin, though any track will do as there are no weak ones. One thing is for certain: each track is a sonic feast with something to tempt the listener. Highly recommended.
