5.0 out of 5 stars Great story, good gaming, 16 April 2012

When I bought this game I already heard so much about it that I bought the AC2 together with it.

It was a fulfilled promise - the story is very, very interesting and it feels in the beggining that it has lots of potential.

The gameplay takes a while to get used to - this is not your 3rd person shooter, but a very cool kill-them-and-escape-the-guards type of game. Running on the roof-tops is brilliant. Way to go taking the game to a higher-level (pun intended).

Having already the remaining 3 of the series, I still say that this game is a MUST if you want to have an in-depth liking of the story, which I have to say again is great.

The character Altair is likeable and you get to... oh well, don't want to spoil it for first-time players.

3.0 out of 5 stars Meh..., 23 Jan 2012

The game has potential, however in the offline modes you have the career mode that can become a bit dull on an easier level, with the twist later on when any of the guys you were easily beating 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 will suddenly have a "good day" and do that to you.

On a hard level the game is well balanced, but regardless of your skills, don't expect to go through a whole season without a loss.

The biggest setback is online gaming - the game is not balanced at all and whoever is a strong hitter (PWR:100) is due to win. Players with no backhand or forehand ratings but 100 in power will easily take you for a stroll around the field, which is not realistic.

I finished the career mode, played some games online, but this game as fun as it was, will be going to a shop as a used game to be resold.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good game, terrible online mode, 23 Jan 2012

Gameplay hasn't changed all that much from the predecessors, but for something that works, there shouldnt be too many changes.

The "train the assasins" mode has been given more depth, however I missed more integration of it in the story.

***SPOILER ALERT***

The ending, leaving things open, not sure if it makes me happy not to be entirely done with the assasins or annoyed by Ubisoft to keep milking the cow.
