Perfect for baby-led weaning, 24 April 2013
Our 6 month old baby was just starting to feed herself, but would frequently get frustrated that chunks of food would slip out of her grasp. This crinkle-cutter gives her a bit more grip on items such as apples and pears. It's dishwasher safe and sharp enough to cut through everything I've tried so far with little effort. Good price, good product.

Really lovely quality, 24 April 2013
Beautifully soft leather in a lovely presentation case. Made a fabulous gift for a friend who'd just moved to London, and I liked it so much, I bought one for myself too. Makes me smile a lot more than my rubbish old plastic holder. A little lift each day on the way to work!

Great value for money, 24 April 2013
This product has really taken the work (and time!) out of making cakes, whisking eggs etc. It looks stylish on the counter top and isn't quite so huge as some of the others on the market. It comes with a generous range of accessories - though honestly I'm not sure I'd ever actually bother using a citrus press (so easy by hand). I found the blade attachments not terribly useful; there's no chop, or julienne, but great I guess if you needed to slice a large quantity of something. I found that it didn't really work for onions, but I might have been using the wrong blade. Its biggest drawback is the instructions. I am technically inept, but with about 30 minutes to spare, I managed to figure out all of the various functions with trial and error, but it would have been useful to have proper guidance for which speed setting / beater / blade to use for various tasks. Two other minor drawbacks: whilst it's great that the whole thing is dishwasher proof, the mixing bowl's base tends to gather water in the machine, which is a shame, as it would have been relatively easy to design it so that this didn't happen. Secondly, despite only having been used 10 or so times, the mixing bowl itself is already looking scratched on the inside. Cosmetic and doesn't really matter, but was surprised it happened. Overall, an extremely well-designed machine for not a lot of money. It really does take the hard work out of baking, and takes care of those less-pleasant jobs (rubbing flour into butter, knocking back dough) in hardly any time at all.

Super for a 7 month old baby, 24 April 2013
Our baby loved bathtime in her table-top bath, but she just outgrew it - and had been soaking the entire floor for a good couple of months. Not quite reliably sitting up by herself yet, we thought this would be a good interim product - and it really is. Safe enough that you don't have to hold them throughout the bath, but with enough wiggle room for them to kick around. Of course, she can't quite kick as much as she used to because the bar is in the way, but it would be hard to get round this and keep the product safe. The front bar is slightly fiddly to operate. At the moment, I lift her in and out the seat without unclipping the bar, but as she gets bigger, I shall have to master this! I'm sure it won't be insurmountable. Overall a very good product.

Not fit for purpose, 24 April 2013
A couple of things - firstly the gate is far too wide to fit its advertised width of 75cm. Our stairway is 75cm exactly wide, and it wasn't even close to fitting. Secondly, it's literally impossible to open this gate one-handed (and very stiff to open it with both hands). How you are supposed to do this whilst holding a baby is beyond me. Might be OK for dogs, but not at all suitable for our purposes, so we returned it.

A Willy Wonka dinner party, 4 April 2013
For those jaded people who really have eaten everything, here's an opportunity to have some fun! For dessert, it was great to watch people's faces as I merely placed a tablet on their plate! I served a "healthy" dessert of fruit - pineapple, apple, grapes, lemon, lime and orange... A real experience. Beware, your carefully chosen wine will taste like Liebfraumilch.

Excellent product at an excellent price, 4 April 2013
Very good quantity of bags for a very good price. Bags are strong and in a variety of sizes. Only comment would be that the dark blue colour makes it difficult to make an address stand out; perhaps some labels would be a good purchase with this product? I have been sellotaping a piece of paper onto the packet to make the address legible. A small quibble though, for a very good product.

Machine washes beautifully - but why just pink and blue?, 4 April 2013
We bought to aid with baby-led weaning - which whilst is a great way of introducing our baby to new tastes and textures, is very, very messy! We use this coverall to make sure as little as possible escapes (though she usually manages to get some in her hair). After we've used it, it goes straight in the washing machine and tumble dryer. Perfect. Only gripe would be that I'm sick of the stereotypical pink and blue girl/boy products... and for some reason, the blue one was more expensive than the pink.

Not comprehensive enough, 1 April 2013
I have no objection - in theory - to methods that leave the baby to cry for a short period of time; every baby is different, and ours simply will not sleep whilst we're in the room, so will typically cry for a few minutes after we've left the room. She was waking every hour, near enough, throughout the night, and this book was highly recommended by a friend. My difficulty has been that I didn't find it comprehensive enough. It's very short (which is a good thing), but doesn't really address what's the best approach for breastfed babies. My understanding is that breastfed babies will often genuinely need feeding once or twice during the night - how do you distinguish when to "use the method" vs when to actually get up and feed your child? If he's suggesting that a breastfed baby of 6 months should be able to sleep for 12 hours without a feed - I believe that's very unrealistic. If he's not suggesting that, nowhere in the book does it suggest how to manage this. A pity, as I was hoping this would be the magic book that changed our lives!

Excellent product at an excellent price, 27 Mar 2013
Considering these reusable nappies cost more or less what a pack of 5 disposable swim nappies cost, it's a no-brainer. We've used this swim nappy many times. Thankfully we haven't had a "dirty" accident whilst in the pool yet, so can't really comment on its effectiveness, but very happy with the purchase, and will be buying a larger size of the same brand once she's grown out of this one.
