Druid practice, deep satisfaction, 18 Feb. 2014
In recent years, the generally accepted understanding of what it means to be a Druid has shifted from belief to practice. This small book is for someone wondering if building a personal Druid practice is for them. In six lessons, the reader is lead through the elements, the directions, the seasons and to the spirit of place. Each lesson has practical and reflective exercises, and one or more meditations. The focus is on the relationship with nature that is available to all and which inspires all Druids. Gladys has years of committed experience which comes through in the glimpses of her own life and the deep satisfaction she has found – and continues to find - from her own Druid way. She writes as if to say ‘now, you try it...’ and with the confidence to know that the reader will gain as much as she has. I really enjoyed this book, as I have all the others in the author’s catalogue.
