4.0 out of 5 stars Who knew we were breathing wrongly?, 25 Sep 2011
Prior to reading this informative book, I'd assumed that a nutrient-deficient diet and inadequate sleep would be prime factors contributing to depleted energy levels but as the title states, these were only scratching the surface. Posture, stress and breathing and a host of other elements, I found, are key to attaining or maintaining optimum vitality. Comprehensive and easy to read, I recommend this book for those whose lives are labouring under a fog of fatigue and sub-par performance, both mental and physical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is this guy......, 16 Aug 2010
This review is from: Never Look Back (MP3 Download)
......the greatest guitarist on the planet? OK, I know that's a highly subjective question but having heard a zillion shredders and 'fusionists', Blues manages to keep his compositions so engaging whilst showcasing his ability. I haven't heard such a technique, style and slickness with this consistent, high quality since....whenever! A Master of his Art.

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny......yes, that's the word, 31 May 2010
Business as usual after series 1. The wry, dry wit is still there. When everything looks as though it might be going well - you brace yourself for that belly-up, pear-shaped moment.....and it happens. Rick Spleen is as cynical, intolerant, world-weary and self-serving as ever. Mo Stumorous!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish, functional, logical - Logitech..!, 31 May 2010
I like the materials and styling. It's comfortable and the tilted platform is another plus. If you'd prefer a Laptop Base with USB extractor fans and cool blue lights then that's absolutely fine but this smart bit of kit from Logitech should more than serve its purpose. There will always be some heat generated, even from the most eco-friendly Laptop but it won't reach your lap. This product comes with 4 stick-on, rubberised mounting pads (with a template for positioning them) so the computer will be raised from the actual platform and thus further from your lap.

4.0 out of 5 stars Protection with a certain style...., 31 May 2010
OK, it's not going to double as an armoured case but if you want a compromise between that
and carrying it around unprotected then this sleeve should do nicely. It has the feel and
appearance of a jiffy bag and all of its ordinariness, which is a good part of the idea,
so it's inconspicuous re. possible theft. The padding and velcro seals make up the rest
of the equation, i.e. physical protection. I only bought mine to have around the flat but
it's fine to take round a friend's house or even to the office.....just bear in mind it's
still a sleeve so there is no carrying handle or room for the power adaptor.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Previous Reviewer Has Failed..........Big Time!, 24 April 2008
This review is from: The System Has Failed (Audio CD)
Judging by the 5 Stars given by Reviewer D Diamond to acts such as Manowar and King Diamond, it's no wonder this inspirational 12-Tracker from Megadeth was slated by him.

Anyone with even a modicum of musical savvy and awareness will understand the quality of the tracks. This is a sublime album loaded with amazing songs which demonstrate, once again, Dave Mustaine's imagination and creativity.

Memorable guitar riffs, well-executed lyrics and vocals conveyed with typical passion, I was in love with this CD after a couple of plays.

If Reviewer D Diamond is going to slate the lyrics he might as well go the whole hog and take down Child In Time, For Those About To Rock, Whole Lotta Love, 747 - Strangers In The Night, etc.

I won't even highlight favourite tracks because it is that good throughout. 'The System Has Failed' is a resounding success.
