Vampire Hunter D 7" Exclusive Figure
Vampire Hunter D 7" Exclusive Figure

3.0 out of 5 stars VHD Figure nice but plain., 21 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not a bad figure. Nice joints, decent paint job. However D's face isnt portrayed very well. Looks a tad odd.

Packaging tiss just packaging plastic, authenticity can be questioned. Yet due to akadot and thee VHD forums it is genuine. Just appears plain.

Though still a nice figure all the same.

4.0 out of 5 stars king of the anti-heroes, 30 April 2012

greeting to thee, thy hope to help those whom be reading thine review

(present english)

Being a fan of anti-heroes my collection wouldn't be complete without Spawn the King of all anti-heroism.

don't be confused by the title, its not an animated sequel to the 1997 film. It season two of the animated series.

the style is reminicent of a comic book. Its gritty, dark and perfect to the series that is Spawn. However it does lack special features and it can get a little annoying when at least half of the episodes centure around the trials and tribulations of Spawn's Al simmons' best friend and his wife and daughter. But you do sympathise with spawns current situation because of it. Just the the title of the dvd called spawn not "terry"

Spawn fans i recommend this dvd/entire series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Samurai without the shadow, 13 Jun. 2011

greetings to all whom hast cast there attention to thine review. Thy hope it will be helpful.

(present English)

as a long time fan of the samurai jack cartoon series this game has a similar concept.

However at times game play can become arduous when trying to do certain missons, levels have no check point so when you die your sent back to the start of the level. Jumping from one ledge to another is difficult in certain areas for you have to be very precise. unfortunately the games progress cannot be saved on the wii regardless of memory card. (I've tried) however when i saved it on the gamecube I had no problems.

nevertheless the fighting sequences make up for some its flaws. it has a sort of matrix vibe when executing sakai mode. unfortunately unlike the series oil does not spout from the robots in large pools, whether this is recommended for younger audiences I'm not certain. The bonus is fighting mad-jack, the only real difficult boss (hard mode) and seeing as well as fighting the over zealous Scotsman while short is humorous just as it was in the series.

the final show down with aku was disappointing, even on hard mode the boss was easy. but the finial cut-scene almost made up for it.

the sellers of this product "no money honey" i would recommend for the fast delivery.

all in all the game isn't that bad but could have been improved a great deal.

1.0 out of 5 stars aweful gaming, 21 Mar. 2011

tiss another product review

in present english:

as a fan of the original okami i thought this sequel would be just as good. was i mistaken. this game features chibiratsu the offspring of amaratsu as the main hero not heroine. the level structure while similar to the original is somewhat annoying because developers decided to cut familiar landscapes into sections with loading screens. while the first one had similar gameplay as zelda this game decides to over use this element. e.g the point of using your partners becomes droll and slow and as you progress you feel less like a god and more of a politician. you control or guid your partner over perilous pathways while you safly get across.

this game like its predecessor is rated a 12 however it feels more like a childrens game than a game where you have to excorsise demons while saving the world. Even the side quests are pointless, you have to find items for people, once completed however you recieve no reward but praise. The new characters seem boarderline annoying, what was okami has now faded into oblivion and in its wake is a pup who in fact only has a cut rating.

the first used old japanese folklore and shinto relegion, however these basic elements have been thrown out the window, the offspring is male. while this probably has no effect to gamers preference it does when concidering the shinto myth. even shirnui as deemed to be amaturatsu forma self is deemed male in okamiden and the when comparing it to the first hardly makes sence.

this game doesn't even wave a flag to the first.

If thou wants a display to wow yee audience then this orintal sword is best choice.

(IN PRESENT ENGLISH)

The picture does the item no justice, the replica isn't tacky but its design looks authentic. The hilt is black but boasts the diamond design found on most samurai swords. The stand is medocre but its nice enough.

The order was ahead of scedual with carful packing to ensure a safe arrivel, product worth looking into.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thou lust for horror?, 27 Oct. 2009

Good greetings fellow amazon shoppers.

Thy wilst give a short review on thee product in which thy hast brought.

(this is now in present English)

Vampire hunter D Bloodlust is an anime worth buying. The voice dubbers are superb, reason being is that it was first recorded in english. The plot's stroyline is strong and will keep viewers interested. The animation is smooth and very effective when it comes to detail.

This is a sequel to the 80's Vampire Hunter D but you needn't watch it to gain an understanding of this film. As for the book that relates to this film it doesn't rely heavily on the plot however the film in itself tells a story of its own.

Yes as the name implies it's about vampires and dhampirs (dunpeals) but these are no camp actors or characters (interview with the vampire, van helsing)but it gives in to a vampires true nature and has a few new twists aswell.

This is a film that adults or mature teenagers should really (exuse the pun) should really sink there teeth into. The special features should keep rookie animators interested if not entertained.

Hope thy hast help thou in reviewing this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Raiser of Gales raises the imagination, 14 Sept. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The second novel of the VHD series. Through gripping and stunning the book grabs you from start to finish. Raiser of Gales brings D to a small town. The mayor hires the vampire hunter to vanquish a day ridden vampire, however the ruins of the nobility hold the secret to the towns sudden attacks.

With creatures manifested from the nobles and beasts spawned from the subconscience this book is well worth the time. Science mixed with fiction gives the reader an insight to what the vampires/dhampirs are (cell structure ect)and why.

The illustrations found within the book are a joy to look upon. Helps set character development.

The characters in the book are boisterous be it Lina and dark like the Mayor. However even the isolated D will come forth slighty as a character and his "apprentice" makes it thus so.

NOTE: The review is brief because it is to give insight to a future reader and is not a full synopsis of the story. This review is written to not spoil the peice of fiction but to give understanding to the book.
