It was Rose’s comment that shocked Edna on a Saturday afternoon as she walked out with two small bags of groceries in her arms. Better be careful with those bags Edna, looks like your baby is due any day. Edna hurried away, feeling light-headed at such a comment. Baby? What baby? I’m not even married for crying out loud. Seventeen year old Edna Rollins murmured to herself, I’m not gonna have a baby.

But he seems to think dishonesty is all right if you can get away with it. Do you understand him? This is what pulls you along turning your pages. Roy will confess to a women that his name is in fact not Brian. It's Roy. Roy Courtnay. Brian was a kind of nom de plume for meeting women. I f you see what I mean. This review is from: You And Me, Always (Hardcover)
review by ireadnovels.wordpress.com I adored reading this latest book by Jill Mansell. So much happens in the village of Stanton Langley. On the morning of Lily Harper's twenty-fifth birthday, she opens up her letter by her late mother. Lily was the darling of Stanton Langley everyone loved her and was protective of her after the tragic early loss of her mum. When Lily's mum died she was brought up by Coral and her late husband Nick. When Lily's mum was eighteen she met Declan when they were both working in Barcelona. They parted as they both had to take up their places at university. Jo Harper then met Keir and got pregnant with Lily. Keir revealed his true colours as he did not want anything to do with Lily. Patsy is a hairdresser with an ex husband who was gay and married another man. And why is Eddie Tessler who is famous hiding in Pasty's house?

Julia Pierpont's writing most defintely stands out from other authors. It is quite a heartbreaking story. Deb's husband Jack has a secret life, he is having an affair. The woman who is sleeping with Jack knows all about Jack's wife and his children and sends Deb a box of dirty letters that Jack sent his secret girlfriend. Unfortunately the box of letters are found by their children and they begin to read them.

Breakdown (Alex Delaware Novels)
Breakdown (Alex Delaware Novels)
by Jonathan Kellerman
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £17.09

3.0 out of 5 stars not one of my favourite, 8 Feb. 2016
Alex Delaware is a criminal psychologist. Alex works with the police to help solve the most complex of crimes in Los Angeles, city of illusions, glamour and infamy. Psychologist sleuth Alex Delaware has experienced more than enough of L.A..’s dark side to recognise the scent of evil.

A beautiful and emotionally fragile actress Zelda Chase was psychotic but employable. She had signs of mood and thinking issues. What makes her psychotic is that she had body movements rocking, blinking. Zelda is soon discovered dead and the search is on for Zelda's missing son. This was not one my favourite books by Jonathan Kellerman

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved Ginny Carter she holds her hand out to help everyone, 4 Feb. 2016
This review is from: Blue (Hardcover)
Review by ireadnovels.wordpress.com
A must buy, must read. Danielle Steel is one my top favourite writers. I guarantee that this story will touch your heart and keeping you turning the pages. I just loved this story about a homeless boy.
Ginny Carter and her husband Mark had a marriage and life that were the envy of their friends and to all that had known them. They had a gorgeous home in Beverly Hills. But very sadly her husband and her son died in a car crash. Ginny has a heart of gold bless her she decided to work for a human rights organization going to places like Africa and Afghanistan, helping women and children that need food, water, medicine or shelter. Becky who is Ginny's older sister and what I thought was rather sweet is the fact that the two sisters respected and loved each other.
Becky and her husband live in Pasadena with their three children and seem to lead an orderly life. Ginny can't go inside her Beverly Hills house any more and sets up a home in New York.
While Ginny is out walking she finds a young boy sleeping rough in a freezing cold shed. Even though Ginny doesn't know any thing about this young boy she is so kind-hearted that Ginny holds her hand out and lets thirteen-year-old Blue Williams come to sleep at her place in the nice and warm. Happiness can be found in the most unexpected places.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed it tremendously, 3 Feb. 2016
Review by ireadnovels.wordpress.com
Black Widow deals with contemporary gender issues such as sexism on forums, public shaming, revenge porn and trolling. Diana Jager is a successful skilled surgeon. She had kept her own identity a secret doing a Sexism in Surgery blog that was about Sexism in hospitals generally. Diana ended up marrying Peter a shy IT Tech. But the marriage was not the fairytale that everyone seemed to think. There is no perfect marriage. There is no perfect murder. Six months later after Diana and her husband were married Peter was dead. Peter's car was found submerged in the river, but divers hadn't been able to find Peter. Dr Diana Jager was a woman who it was unwise never to turn your back on her. And if you ever did, you should worry. Did Peter her husband have any secrets himself? And if so what would Diana be capable of doing about it? Jack Parlabane a freelance journalist looks into things a bit more closer to see if everything about this tragedy of Peter's death is quite what it appears to be on the surface. This is my first book that I have read by Chris Brookmyre and I have enjoyed it tremendously.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must buy must read, 3 Feb. 2016
This review is from: Rebound (Hardcover)
Review by ireadnovels.wordpress.com
Rebound is a must buy must read. This is Aga Lesiwicz's first novel and so very addictive that you will not be able put this novel down. I am really pleased that Aga is working on her second book. This edge-of-your seat is about Anna Wright who has a powerful job as Head of On-Air, programming for a creative major TV Company. But that is it professionally. And then there is her personal life. She has just ended her relationship with James. Strange things start to take over Anna when she meets a stranger while out jogging on the Heath. Anna Wright is not a bad person but maybe she did do a bad thing. Her Neighbour Tom seems to be taking an interest in Anna and her loveable dog. It's Frightening Anna has quite a few men that appear in Anna's perfect life. But things take a terrible turn for Anna Wright bringing her many bad things to happen to upset her perfect life.
