3.0 out of 5 stars Shaves clean but wears out too fast, 26 May 2008
I've been using this shaver for 2 years. With me, the shaving takes at least 30 minutes which is a bit too long, but the result is very good, almost as good as wet shaving with a safe blade razor. It also does not irritate your skin too much (even my sensible allergic skin!).

The only thing that doesn't make this shaver worth 5 stars is its short life. The shaver's "3D system" is made of plastic, so if you shave often, those rims holding the shaving heads get worn out because of friction in 1.5 years or so. That makes the shaving heads either fall in or jump out a few times while you shave. I don't think that buying a new $150-worth electric shaver every 1 or 2 years is a good idea, but now I have to. So when choosing a new shaver make sure that all its moving parts are metallic.

Also be aware that a new heads set costs 60-70% of the shaver itself.

5.0 out of 5 stars For all time travel fans, 28 Mar 2008
This review is from: Deja Vu [DVD] (DVD)
I don't understand why so many people give this great movie so few stars. Fantastic script! It keeps you thrilled all the time till the end. The action is so fast and complicated that you keep pressing 'pause' and ask yourself 'Why?' It's good to be watched with a friend/spouse. I give it 5 stars, and I don't do it too often.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must-see for any Beatles fan, 3 Sep 2007
The picture has got a simple and clear plot, but all those absurd, crazy jokes and strange characters could really blow your mind if you're not accustomed to John Lennon's jokes. It all reminds me of 'Alice in Wonderland' a lot. One should accept the picture 'as is'. Though my 3-year-old daughter loves it a lot! No need to talk about music - it's outstanding! In general, it's different and a definite must-see.

4.0 out of 5 stars A nice movie, a few inaccuracies, 10 May 2007
This review is from: The Terminal [DVD] (2004) (DVD)
A nice and a kind movie, maybe not as brilliant and stuffed with effects as other Spielberg's works. Its main idea is that people should be more human and sympathetic to each other.

Though I must note a few inaccuracies in the movie. The main character, Victor, comes from an imaginary East-European country called Krakozhia. But a few details in the movie point to real countries, and in a very strange way. For example, when Victor tells his father's story, he shows an article `from a Romanian magazine'. But its title is in Russian! Then, another guy from Krakozhia comes to JFK and the airport's security boss asks Victor to be an interpreter. And what we hear after that is pure Bulgarian.

Of course, such details aren't the main thing in the movie's plot. It's enough for the viewer to know that Victor comes from a post-socialist country which are many since 1990s.

And, as usual, Tom Hanks' acting is great! That's why I give the movie a four.
