This film gives a worrying look into what could happen in a nuclear (I assume) apocalypse. A man and his son are left to venture the wastelands together, fleeing from hostile groups that would only do them harm. A father's bond to his son is sacred, and that is shown in this film brilliantly. The worry of his son being hurt or 'expolited' leads him to a potentially drastic action in each scenario of danger. The part under the house is beyond creepy and the end is satisfying. I find apocalypse films delicious to watch so five starts from me!

As with the Superman piece, this is the same. Colours are great, feels great, looks great. The screw fit is tight so it does not fall out and well, it's great.

This piece is comfortable in the ear, it looks great. The colours do not fade whatsoever and the screw system is tight enough that it does not loosen from continued wear. Comfortable, and everybody I talk to loves it!

It's a very pretty mouse, in an evil Decepticon looking way. The colours change to the DPI setting and even this can be customised so that blue, red, green or pink are top dog with regards to DPI. The polling rate goes up to 1000hz. It is comfortable for me, and I have huge hands. The buttons can be completely customised to do whatever you want them to do. It's great, basically.

5.0 out of 5 stars The universe isn’t evil, John, it’s just indifferent. That hasn’t changed. It can’t., 27 Nov 2013

This show, it's amazing. It opens your eyes to things you wouldn't normally see. Idris Elba plays John Luther like no other person could. The tension and care that is built up for John and even Alice is incredible. Series 1 to 3 is the only way to buy it. All three series just get better and better. Some say it pushes boundaries, but boundaries are made to be pushed and crossed. Why build a wall if not to make somebody try that bit harder. The finale is somewhat special, making the audience the key person in John's story. Enjoy it, I certainly have.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh boy!, 27 Nov 2013

This is the album I've been waiting to hear. A dobro being strummed by a fine voiced lad singing deep, original songs. The dobro itself is worth listening to, but adding vocals and a very well placed stomp box adds to the experience. One of my favourite albums going!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not his best..., 27 Nov 2013

A good follow up to his previous album, but slightly lacking in terms of content. Most songs feel familiar and if I may say so, a bit lazy. The same progression repeats for four minutes behind some decent vocals. Vocals! Before I forget. Dege's voice seems to have been raised an octave or so as when comparing Judgment Day to Too Old To Die Young, you can clearly hear the change. He sounds, younger... But, I personally preferred the deeper voice of Mr. Legg. But still, a great album with nice variety and catchy songs. The catchiest of all being Crazy Motherf***er, which isn't so acceptable to play amongst family... But still, very good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hmm!, 27 Nov 2013

It's a sandbox through and through, but that sandbox does indeed feel limited. The map is huge, but with a huge map should come compelling activities. For example, Trevor's hunting was awful. I was expecting Read Dead style hunting and gathering, but instead you simply kill an animal and take a picture. It links with the social satire of the game, but they really missed the mark. Races, well, they are a bit bland. Sure, street racing is fun but a single track would have been nice. A track with an auditorium feel would have sealed the deal for much madness. And then there is Michael, the most frustrating and over featured character about. His incessant whining and attempts to be a tough guy just make him look a fool and a waste of time. Trevor, for me, saved this game from being a pile of boredom and wasted money. If Trevor was left aside, you'd be left with a lot of very boring, run of the mill missions. Go here, shoot him, go here, shoot more people, oh, rob a bank, now do nothing for a while. Trevor adds spice to a bland dish indeed. The graphics were not as good as I expected them to be, and with the spectacle that online was, well...

But, enough of that! The game ended up being a well paced, explosive game with odd patches of tension and suspense during some robberies, along with an epic scope of violent possibilities and good opportunities. The driving has been tweaked so cars no longer drive on what I can only describe as butter roads. Braking actually slows the car down instead of initiating locked wheels and no speed loss. And, finally, the cops. My, the cops! They have second to none aiming. You can drive along at high speed with four stars and simply be killed by an armed officer in a helicopter. Intense chases ensued and many deaths occurred.

A decent game, but not game of the generation, or the year for that matter.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great end to a great trilogy., 27 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Well, it was always going to lead to this. Jorg, our twisted young man of a protagonist has cut, diced and burned his way here, but where does it leave us? Well, apparently it leaves us in the midst of a great story (it's predictable through to the midriff) that takes us to places other authors fail to comprehend. The setting of Lawrence's world alone is worth reading, but when you add a compelling story, great actions pieces with intense fantasy, well, look at my score. It concludes in a surprising way, but a way that is, well, nice. For all it's violence, gore, crudeness and vulgarity, Lawrence ends it in a manner that I failed to expect. It may take some a few backreads to understand, but I read it fine and thought it a good ending. A great book, an even better trilogy.

2.0 out of 5 stars It's shrinking?, 27 Nov 2013

It's shrinking with each wash, but not in the way you'd imagine. It's not getting smaller, but shorter. A few more washes and it'll be suitable for beachwear!
