I received this book on 12th December. By 21st December I had read it all. Its one of those books once you start reading it you don't want to put down. I read 50 pages on day one, 100 on day two and double the next time I picked it up.
The book gives a fascinating account of Brians life starting as a young lad in Liverpool, playing in his first bands, the forming of Frankie, the highs and lows of being in one of the top bands of the 80's, the fallout and what happened thereafter, meeting other musicians inc Billy Idol, Ringo Starr, Def Leppard, Billy Currie, getting married, becoming a dad and making his way as a solo artist and losing his parents. A really interesting read and I would highly recommend this book to all fellow Frankie fans. Brian ends the book with the quote from the inside cover from the Pleasuredome album and thanks the reader for not losing interest. No thankyou Brian for this great insight into what life was like in FGTH.
