3.0 out of 5 stars Ok, 8 Mar. 2012
The length is advantageous for wrapping but trying to evenly distribute the beads is annoying, especially if you use it for your back. Also gets a bit moist when heated in the microwave and makes your clothes smell of lavender afterwards. All in all a decent enough product that doesn't offer to much more than your stanard hot water bottle.

These feel and look a lot more expensive than they are. Very comfortable, a proper ski glove.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still think there's a god?, 30 Nov. 2011
I'm not a religious man, nor do I believe there are little green men cruising around the Universe. But after reading this book, someone with a truly objective approach to the evidence provided would be hard pressed not to rule in favour of intelligent life from other planets explaining a great deal of religious concepts. Will blow your mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money, 30 Nov. 2011
A while ago I bought a very expensive knee brace for sport that was one of the best around. I have a reconstructed ACL and a lot of my meniscus removed in my left knee. After eventually wearing the brace out, I discovered they had discontinued the range. Having a look around, I struggled to find another one that was the same style whilst being affordable, and not being one of the massive ones with plastic and metal that make you look like Iron Man. I came across this and can say that it is brilliant. It's the exact same design as my old one and offers great support, for a decent price. Would recommend

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic, 30 Nov. 2011
Just started reading this, so have to shift through all the pre-amble of how civilisations came to be and all that before I get to the battle, but looking forward to it. The traditions, values and attitudes of the races Herotodus talks about is fascinating. Makes me think things would be a whole lot better with a simpler approach to life

1.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL ILIAD/ODYSSEY, 30 Nov. 2011
As a Greek by origin I thought I would read up on the great literature of my country. What better than the Iliad & Odyssey. So without really looking I just grabbed this, and was disappointed to find it was actually an analysis of them and their influence as opposed to the books themselves. So messed up there. Only buy this if you are an english or classics enthusiast, or have trouble falling asleep.

King of Swords
King of Swords
by Nick Stone
Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as Mr Clarinet, 30 Nov. 2011
This review is from: King of Swords (Paperback)
I was eagerly anticipating this book after the brilliant Mr Clarinet. I have to say that it falls short of its predecessor. Mr Clarinet offered something different in terms of the voodoo and careful depictions of Hiatti, this book is more your bog standard crime novel. For those interested in the series, it will keep your interest till the end as you will most likely have an affiliation with the characters from the first book. For those who haven't read Mr. Clarinet, read it, and then this after.
