Revellutions 1:18 Scale RC Bone Breaker Monster Truck
Revellutions 1:18 Scale RC Bone Breaker Monster Truck
Price: £40.14

4.0 out of 5 stars Fast and fun, 25 Mar 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
We've had a blast with this RC. It's a light combo, so it doesn't tire your hands. And it's a quick and sleek little car. I appreciated the extra clearance it has for outdoor use, which enabled it to drive well over rougher ground (within reason). The charger setup is quick (1hour to full charge) and the 20-30min hard-use time was more than enough for us to get our fill.

It's packed very securely, so a little wrestling to get the car free from it's strapping. But overall a really fun and solid unit.

4.0 out of 5 stars A tidy and sturdy swing for your little one, 23 Mar 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
With earlier kids, we've had a swing which just seemed to be everywhere at once, usually in the way. One of the biggest pluses with this one is the way it folds up so well when not being used. Very tidy.

It's a bright and colourful basket and with the music, the little one seems very happy. The speed of the swinging is nicely regulated and although our little one is a front-to-back swinger, you can orient to swing side-to-side, which is a nice option as well.

Set-up was as easy as it gets for baby-things.

Some minor criticism would be that you can't extend the hanging toys down a little bit to give the baby a better chance to give them a wack. But overall, this is a really nice swing and has the feel that it will be able to take a little wear and tear over the next months and stand up to it well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing and emersive, 6 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My son just loves this look into the Ninjago world. He could read it endlessly. Ends at the second season (I think), so it doesn't include the continuation of the story on the series which goes into the cyborg characters.

4.0 out of 5 stars great big bag (maybe too big), 6 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fantastic bag, with lots of size and a simple design allowing it to breath. But if you're buying it for kids (under 10?), it's just physically too big to comfortably sit on the back when the shoulder straps are sized accordingly. It sort of bunches up and becomes quite awkward for the little ones.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not great unless you're very close to wifi router or hardwired via ethernet, 6 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The stand itself looks sharp and holds the laptop well. The cord holders are very flimsy, though and can't hold even one cable without popping out.

The real downside here is that most users are going to find that unless they're very close to their wifi router or hardwired via ethernet, the signal strength and data speed from wifi will plummet when the laptop is in clamshell mode compared to being open. The Mac's antenna runs in the black bit around the screen and when closed it radically reduces the ability to pick up a signal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classics, for a reason, 28 Feb 2013
What a wonderful distilling of Rachel's best and most Irish food into one book. I love Rachel, but too often, of late, she pushes the boat out too far for me. But not with this one, which is exactly what I'm looking for for me and my family. Probably not the prettiest book in the picture sense, but such is Irish coooking. My gosh, it dose taste fantastic, though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Everything you wanted to know...and everything you didn't want to know., 14 Feb 2012
This review is from: Freaky Dreams (Paperback)
Looking for why you had sheep's head in your dream last night? Or were naked from only the waste down at the office? Or had toes for fingers? This is the one for you. I don't recall many of my dreams, but those i do are on the 'freaky' side. This is a fun companion to figuring out just what the heck is going on.

I wonder what the Conchords could do with it?

5.0 out of 5 stars Result!, 8 Feb 2012
I thought that this was going to be a lot harder than it ended up being. I'm a coffee fiend, so cutting that out was the hardest part of it all and there were a couple of mornings where it almost went down the pan. But I stuck to it, in no small part due to Jason's great attitude and encouragement. And in the end, I lost 5lbs. Probably would have lost a bit more if I'd have completed the whole week, but I had to cut it a day short.

The wall-chart in the back of the book was a really helpful thing to put up on the fridge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, amazing. And i haven't even seen the film yet!, 21 Oct 2011
What a look behind the scenes. The team at Weta is well-known for the depth of the creative work which they bring to the table when working on a project (District 9, LOTRs, others). I've been a TinTin fan since forever and was more that a little worried about what the movie might do to my memories and imagination of the world. But fear not! I love that the book shows the stages of development of the characters, scenes and storylines from the rough concept to final look. Well-done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ruddy brilliant. The 'Interactivities' are incredible., 2 Nov 2010
A lot of people will just chalk C&H up to being stupid, filthy, sexist, offensive, etc. And they're right. But they're also incredibly clever in their humour, wordplay and their knowledge of how the mind will jump to a conclusion. One thing I'd also like to commend is that their illustration style is deceptively intricate. Again, lots of people think they're a step up from a stick figure, but take a look at the expressions and you'll find a lot more face gags than you might expect. Another great outing, gentlemen.

I hope they do an animation about this book, too, as the last one was the best thing on youtube for a long time. Justin Bieber notwithstanding.
