4.0 out of 5 stars A fun game for everyone!, 27 Nov. 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Microsoft's Flight Simulator X takes Microsoft's Flight Simulator series into a whole new level, featuring graphics and detail that can't be found on other flight simulators. This includes cars; boats and an animated living environment, making the gamer feel shrouded in the real world. Also the game gives you a variety of airplanes to choose from depending on the type of flight you want to make. Another new feature included in FSX are missions, which the player is able to work through. Each mission is different based on skill level and include missions from simply landing an ultra light, to rescuing workers off an oil rig, to landing a plane on a moving bus. This, unlike the previous Microsoft Flight Simulators actually gives you the sense of feeling that you're progressing throughout the game. However what a lot of people, and myself like about flight simulator is that there are no rules to follow you simply make up your own flight as you progress through the game and gather skill as a pilot. However one thing I have noticed is that you need a very powerful computer to actually get the program to work smoothly and to have it operating on a higher graphics setting. However FSX is definitely the next step in computer games especially with its graphics and also the online multiplayer application that lets you control air traffic, or fly and communicate with people from around the globe. Microsoft Flight Simulator X is fun and open to everybody experienced or novice alike.
