This book should be manadatory reading for those who are engaged; it is scarily honest and challenging but not careless in its content. Thank you to John and Stasi - what you have written is thought provoking and personal and brings a welcome chunk of reality to the conept we currently have of marriage - it is hard work and not something to take for granted. I am giving this to all those I know in the hope that they will be blessed by it - I was and so is my husband. Buy it! Now, please.

This book states some obvious things but we all need to see these things in black & white to remind us. It is slick, easy to read and not too heavy. Some americanisms are trite but God is God of us all!! A good read which reminds you of the basic truths of the Bible and how these relate to every day life; a great 'pick-me -up' - I recommend this. Good for a person who is seriously considering becoming a Christian or a young Christian.
