I got the keyboard to use along with my iPad. That said...I feel a PC/Mac is used to "Create" content and the iPad is there to "Consume" it (most of the time).
Occasionally you may want to do a little creating on the iPad and that's why I got the keyboard. If you are just going to be replying to emails or making very short notes...don't bother as I just know you will end up leaving the keyboard behind. Much of the beauty of the iPad is that it's so compact and easy to take with you so dragging a separate keybaord round is rather counter productive.
Oh...almost forgot to mention the keybaord is fine for occasional use. The "Enter" key is a bit too far to the right and that takes a little getting used to at first and the keyboard is small so if you are used to a desktop rather than a small laptop you are goign to find it cramped. The keys feel good to type on but do keep in mind, this is a real keyboard (not keys on glass) so you will be making a noise when you type and if you are planning using it in a quite place...think again.
I loved the whole album from the first time of listening BUT be aware, the CD is protected so you CAN rip it into Media Player but you CANT copy it to your portable device. I think there sould be something on the CD cover to warn us!
